Chapter 3674 - Fourth World of the Departed

Celestial Sourcepath Progenitor sounded like a name in the same vein of First Aeonic Ancestral Star. However, it actually had some real history with the Myriadworld Immortabeast in its past life.

The strongest thing about Primordial Chaos Beasts is their unique constitution. Yin Chen's immortal order is a reflection of its unkillable metal bodies, while Sixth's might have something to do with the source of souls and wisdom.... But Tianming simply couldn't connect how Sixth looked to the concept of wisdom. It wasn't too surprising, though, since all the Primordial Chaos Beasts had had to start again from zero after reincarnating, a far cry from their past impressive natures.

"Its terra and vita might be even harder to deal with.... Sixth, are they also afraid of evil impulses?" Tianming asked.

"What is that?" it asked.

"The thing you called shit."

Sixth shrank back in caution. "Are you afraid of it?"

Tianming recalled the appearance of Terror City within the Skydome Battlefield and shuddered. If that really was a pile of shit, he would be afraid, too. "I'm not afraid!"

"No surprise there, since your head's full of shit," Sixth said, rolling its eyes. "I don't know if they'll feel the same."

"What do you know then?"

"They're stuck up and won't talk to me!"

Tianming finally understood why Sixth hated arrogant and aloof people like the wonderians. It all stemmed from its own insecurity!

At that moment, Ying Huo and the rest came out of the lifebound space and stared at Sixth.

"What’re you looking at, weaklings?" Sixth said, crossing its arms and raising its nose high.

"So you're just a little punk!" Ying Huo said.

"Hmph!" Sixth grit its teeth hard.

"Forget it, Sixth. Since you're back, Chicken Bro won't hold it against you. We’ll be family from now on!"

"Childish!" Sixth snapped.

Ying Huo merely watched, speechless.

"Oh, look, if it isn't my little brother?" Ji Ji teased.

"Shut up! Your pubes haven't even grown out yet, and you dare to call yourself my older sister?!"

"I won't ever grow pubes!" Ji Ji snapped.

"How dare a baby without any adult hairs assert seniority over the Invincible Ultimate God of Old?!" Sixth broke out in a fit of laughter.

"What kind of invincible being surrenders to shit?" It was Ji Ji's turn to laugh.

"You little shit!" Sixth was going to go mad. It would never be able to wipe away that humiliation for the rest of its life.

Tianming laughed at their banter. There was no way they wouldn't argue, given their strong personalities. Xian Xian and Ji Ji argued all the time as well, but they were united in the cause of making a huge log of Tianming's gossip and misdemeanors.

"I still have its terra and vita to claim, but at least I can start cultivating my soul. There's also quite a lot of other things here in God Domain One to take care of."

Tianming was about to start working, only for a weird thing to happen within his lifebound space. "What in the...."

It wasn't just Tianming. Ying Huo and the rest all shook from a sudden, bone-deep chill. It felt like the specter of death was looming over them! Death spirals appeared on every single one of their astrons, seemingly dragging them toward a completely different world!

"The fourth world of the departed..." a ghastly voice rang in their ears.

"What?" Xian Xian's voice shook as its spiritform tightly hugged Sixth.

"Ghost!" Ying Huo jumped on top of Meow Meow.

The cat was woken up with a start. "What?! Did we take over someplace new while I was napping?!"

"Let me take a look!" Lan Huang was the bravest of the lot and led the rest back to the lifebound space. The other beasts, with the exception of Yin Chen—who already had some bodies within the lifebound space—hid within Lan Huang's armpits as they returned together.

"Why’d you come in, too?" Ying Huo asked when it noticed the bundle of clouds next to it.

"What? Does the lifebound space only belong to you? Why can't I come in?" Sixth said, glaring at Ying Huo.

"I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about Tortoise Bro's armpit! Why would the Invincible Ultimate God of Old need to hide here?"

"I'm scared, too!"

What in the world was the thing that had all of them on edge? When they entered the lifebound space, they noticed that they were surrounded in a gray mist all around them. It didn't match any of the colors of their energies, so it definitely had nothing to do with them! They widened their eyes as they looked up at the sight of a gray egg from which the mist emanated. It was the thing that had released all that mist, changing the clean and peaceful lifebound space into a hellscape of darkness!

"The power of death..." Sixth mumbled before sneaking between Meow Meow and Ying Huo, its eyes filled with fear and caution. Even though its unique nature made it perfect to counter whatever Tianming used Yin Chen for, Sixth cautiously looked at the gray egg, shivering.

"Didn't you say you were going to incubate our unhatched siblings not long ago? Look at you now!" Ying Huo chided.

"You’re the one that claimed to be the big brother of the group! Why do you look so afraid?!" Sixth countered.

"I'm afraid of ghosts!" Ying Huo spat. Sixth was both stunned and impressed by how straightforwardly honest it was.

"It's over! We can't stay here any longer!" Xian Xian cried in despair. The leaves and branches of the Radix World Tree began rotting when they came in contact with the gray mist of death!

"What kind of monster is that damn thing?!" Even though Ji Ji wasn't afraid of it, it did roll its eyes.

"Hi, Eighth! It's me, your Tortoise Bro! Come out and play!" Lan Huang was the only one among them who seemed excited. It kept calling out to the egg as it walked in circles.

The way the egg let out mist seemed like it was breathing it out. There was a pause between every exhale. But then the gray egg suddenly shuddered and stopped spitting out any mist! It began transforming, reminiscent of Yin Chen, who could already multiply before hatching.

The egg didn't seem to show any signs of hatching. Instead, it changed shape and grew in size, gradually turning from an ovoid to a cuboid roughly two meters in length and half a meter wide. It slammed into the ground, scaring Lan Huang and almost causing the other beasts on its body to fly off.

"Aaaah! A ghost!"
