Chapter 2620: Sixth Path

The battlefield shook under the force of Heracles’ assault. His bulging muscles contracted with monstrous tension as he swung his colossal mace, the weapon howling through the air like a wrathful tempest. He brought it crashing down in wide arcs, striking at the two desolate-level beasts that circled him: the Bestet Tiger and the majestic Thunder eagle.

Neither beast gained the upper hand. Heracles roared and lunged, his boot slamming into the tiger’s ribs with a seismic thud. The mighty feline was hurled across the arena, crashing into a pillar of stone with an echoing yowl. Without pause, the warrior spun and hammered his mace downward onto the Thunder eagle, pinning it to the ground in a burst of lightning and dust.

He raised the weapon again, ready to finish the job—until a blur of fire streaked in.

A flaming monkey leapt into the fray, its body ignited with a crimson blaze, eyes alight with battle frenzy. Its arrival brought the eagle a moment to scramble away. Heracles narrowed his eyes. This new beast bore the mark of a formation rune—an enhancement—one of Klea’s doing.

“Tch,” he grunted. “Another?”

Three desolate beasts now surrounded him in a triangle of elemental fury—air, lightning, and fire. Realizing Klea’s strategy, Heracles pivoted mid-battle. “Fine then. I’ll crush the master instead!”

He charged like a boulder loosed from a cliff, thundering toward Klea. But his path was abruptly blocked. The earth cracked open, and two hulking figures emerged—golems. One bore glistening armor of jagged ice, exhaling frost into the air. The other, solid and unyielding, stood cloaked in rolling dust and stone. They moved in perfect coordination, interlocking their arms to shield Klea behind them.

She knelt behind her new protectors, untouched by the chaos, calmly sketching a final set of glowing runes with her lotus pen. Her hand moved with delicate grace, every stroke calculated. Before Heracles could even attempt to break through the twin guardians, a final creature rose at her feet—a massive turtle with shimmering blue runes swirling over its shell, water surging beneath its skin. The beast hummed with healing energy, bathing the field with rejuvenating light.

Now there were six desolate-level beasts—each empowered by a different element. The tiger of wind. The eagle of lightning. The monkey of fire. The ice golem. The earth golem. The turtle of water.

They surrounded Heracles like knights encircling a tyrant king.

Heracles snarled. “Six? Hah! You’d need three times that number just to defeat me!”

He stood tall, flexing his shoulders. Veins bulged across his neck as a crimson aura flared around him, the Law of Strength pulsating from his frame.

Indeed, the beasts swarmed him; they moved in seamless coordination, each one covering the other’s blind spots, but they were still unable to gain the upper hand.

Klea stood and calmly placed the lotus pen behind her ear. A confident smile tugged at her lips.

“I’m not done,” she whispered—and activated the array.

The six flags around the battlefield blazed with radiant light as Klea completed her final stroke with the lotus-ink pen. Her spirit energy surged into the intricate symbols, activating the full power of a Tier-7 formation array.

[Lotus Harmony Array]

With a pulse of elemental brilliance, the formation flared to life—a perfect lotus pattern spreading across the ground beneath her summoned beasts.

A thunderous rumble echoed across the coliseum.

The beasts shuddered as the formation’s energy flowed into them. Their eyes lit with new brilliance. In an instant, the six desolate beasts were reborn in strength.

Heracles blinked, confused. A real change began.

The beasts moved together—not wildly, but in tight coordination, weaving around each other’s strengths and covering each other’s weaknesses. With a flick of Klea’s pen, they struck as one, responding to her intent like extensions of her own body.

They moved like extensions of a single will.

Klea’s will.

Heracles grunted as he took a heavy punch from the Earth Golem, only to be blasted by the Thunder Roc’s dive a heartbeat later. For the first time, the legendary Beast Slayer was forced on the defensive, parrying, dodging, and gritting his teeth as blows rained from all directions.

From the stands, awed gasps rose as the Earth Faction roared in support. Even the Grand Overseers leaned forward. Meanwhile, the Kronos side had fallen deathly silent.

Just when it seemed Klea had the upper hand, Heracles let out a guttural roar.

Titan’s Core—unleashed.”

The words fell like thunder.

A deep, golden radiance erupted from Heracles’ chest, spreading across his limbs in jagged runic lines. His veins bulged with divine light, his muscles swelled beyond mortal limits. This was no longer simple strength—it was Dominion Strength. Not just physical might—this was the power to overwhelm anything with sheer force.

The air turned heavy.

Thrax, watching from the Earth faction’s stand, unconsciously clenched his fists. “He’s strong,” he muttered. “Very strong.”

The same surprise was shown on the Kronos side—Ares’ expression turned to a frown, even Zeus and Hera looked shocked, they didnt know Heracles had such power hidden.

Heracles, now fully awakened, radiated battle-hunger.

Fire and wind roared as the Fire Ape and Wind Tiger launched their attack in perfect synchronization. Heracles paid them no mind. With a powerful leap, he caught the Thunder Eagle mid-flight. Its talons clawed wildly, wings beating frantically, but Heracles roared fiercely, tearing both wings from the bird’s body, sinew and muscle parting with brutal ease.

A piercing screech echoed as the eagle crashed to the ground. Heracles stomped down, crushing its skull with a bone-shattering blow that silenced the creature forever. Blood splattered across the arena floor.

Burning fists lunged next—Flame Ape howled in fury, swinging wildly. Calm and unyielding, Heracles drew a gleaming bronze spear from his ring, spinning it expertly to block the fiery strikes. Then, with ruthless precision, he drove the spear through the ape’s chest, tearing a gaping hole as flames flickered and died.

Momentum drove the spear onward, relentless and unstoppable. It slammed through the Wind Tiger—Tivali—in a single, brutal motion. With a grunt, Heracles yanked the weapon free and hurled it with deadly force. The spear tore through the howling winds whipped up by the tiger, shattering bone before slamming into the arena wall with a thunderous crack.

“RAAAHHHH!!!”

Heracles screamed out once again as he dashed in toward Klea.

The two golems stepped forward to shield Klea, bracing as Heracles charged with his mace raised. The titan’s momentum was unstoppable. His mace slammed into them repeatedly, bombarding them with relentless force. Without the three offensive beasts to support them, the golems could only hold a defensive stance, and the turtle’s healing spells offered little help under such a brutal assault.

The ice golem was the first to break, followed by the earth golem. The Water Turtle—last of the formation—desperately cast a healing wave, but Heracles would not allow recovery. With a single leap, he crashed down on it, shattering its shell and silencing the final support beast.

It was a massacre.

When he finished, Heracles let out a long, thunderous roar that shook the entire arena. His name was once again chanted aloud, rising like a war song from the crowd—

“HERACLES! HERACLES!”

He turned, ready to end the fight, and saw Klea kneeling beside the last surviving beast—Tivali, the wind tiger—who was purring weakly in pain.

Tears streamed down her cheeks as she cradled the dying creature.

“All of you… I’m sorry… Your sacrifice will not be in vain.”
