Chapter 3862: Early Veiled Shore V
Noah plunged into the Early Sacred Waters with purpose, his body carving into the calm surface and shattering it into radiant ripples.
A blinding hum echoed outward as the surface of his skin bloomed with cascading golden sigils- fifty million Existential Dimensional Lattices shimmering like suns dragged into form.
The weight of this place demanded stillness.
But Noah had never been one to simply endure!
HUUM!
The waters pushed back, thick and resisting, yet his steps stirred it like thunder rolling beneath the sea. The moment his foot landed on unseen currents, his body adjusted to the weight, gliding forward, pulsing with existence in a way only a Living Existence could.
The Early Living Marine Lifeform, Auriamundus, was waiting as it roared!
It moved like a concept. Like the memory of motion given form. The gold-blue beast turned within the water’s waves, eyes too ancient for their delicate shape. Its fins danced like tongues of blue flame, and the glyph upon its forehead...oh, the glyph!
It glowed as though it had always been lit, as though it had never known a time when it wasn’t etched into existence!
The Glyph of Water.
Primitive. Pure.
The moment their eyes met, the waters churned.
Auriamundus launched forward.
Noah braced as the goldfish slammed into him again with the sheer rawness of being. The Glyph on its head flared and the waters bent around it, thickening like walls as it swam in a spiraling arc, impossibly fast. It struck like a collapsing tide, and Noah felt his bones creak from the reverberation of motion soaked in 1,000,000 units of Pure Complexity and Purity.
Even his current 50 Million displayed Lattices didn’t nullify that entirely.
The Glyph didn’t ask for mana.
It didn’t need cost.
It was.
That was what made it dangerous.
Every movement the Crownscale made came with meaning. A swipe of the tail carried blades of ancient water, scything across the waves with howling precision.
Each attack carrying condensed attacks that were in excess of 1 Million PQ and CQ!
And because the Glyph did not require mana kr authority...it could continue releasing and spamming these attacks endlessly!
Such a thing...reminded him of what he always loved to do with his Infinity Mana.
An Existential Glyph...allowed one to have a semblance of this capability!
BOOM!
The heavy attacks struck him with no pause, one after the other. Primitive arcs of condensed Living Water smashed against his chest, his arms, his neck. They cracked against the armorless brilliance of his skin, each one echoing like war drums against the walls of a primal temple.
He swam, twisting through them, slipping under the gouging force of hydromantic bursts. One spiral of his shoulder, and he rolled through a current infused with the Water Glyph’s pulsing barrier- one that sizzled when he brushed it, even with fifty million Lattices flaring.
He felt the Glyph more than he saw it.
Felt the density of the authority. The purity.
It was everywhere!
And for every brilliant strike Noah dodged, another followed. Another tailwhip. Another spiral of condensed seafoam bursting with Living Authority.
For a moment, Noah smiled underwater.
His body felt like a brand new item just now being put to use after his elevation!
His eyes were alight with something primal.
"This is what it means to just exist!"
HUUM
He whispered into the currents, his voice lost but felt in the vibration of his being.
The Glyph burned again, slamming another wave into him.
He flipped backward, catching himself in the curl of the misty tides, floating above the goldfish as he appraised it once more.
Auriamundus glared, puffing out a burst of bubbles that shimmered with the glow of a storm. Its arrogance radiated through the sacred silence of the waters.
And Noah nodded once, his hand trailing backward.
"Alright," he said quietly. "I’ve had enough fun."
...!
The air shifted.
The waters shifted.
His Lattices... surged.
One by one, their golden silhouettes multiplied. The resonance of his body deepened. Fifty million? They exploded past that, cascading like a tidal starfire. Seventy million. One hundred. One hundred and twenty-five million!
Reality bent around his skin.
Towers of Origin, dozens of them, appeared like mirages orbiting him.
Of the Singed. Of Infinity. Of Origin. Of Paradox! They shimmered behind him, towering above the currents as if even the sacred waters could not deny them.
The Crownscale froze.
A single glimmer of panic crept into its fluid eyes.
And Noah moved.
He didn’t call down the heavens. He didn’t fire spells. He didn’t call forth cataclysms. His hands- his bare, forged, quintessential hands- cut through the water like spears born in the dawn of ancient time. They cleaved through the glowing blue barrier of the Glyph that protected the goldfish.
The sacred water parted.
The glyph flared.
And then, Noah grabbed.
His fingers closed around the sides of the Crownscale’s shimmering head, slipping past the barrier, slipping past the scales and straight through the gills. With his other hand, he pressed against the side of the glyph, and let over two million of his own condensed Complexity and Purity erupt outward.
BOOM!
A heavy, undeniable impact.
The glyph flickered as the barrier it had shattered!
Then it dimmed.
"..."
A breath passed between them.
And the water stilled.
Auriamundus stopped moving as his hands, akin to spears, pieced into its body with a lighf of ending...Everything.
Its body gleamed dimly in the sacred light, and Noah gently pulled it toward him, his expression unreadable. He placed the weight of it on his shoulder, the finned tail hanging behind him like a silken banner.
The Crownscale was warm.
Still glowing.
Still pulsing.
But its Beginning... had ended.
Noah stepped out of the water.
His upper body was laid bare, droplets of sacred mist trailing down his skin, dripping from the sharp edge of his jaw, from the carved lines of his chest and shoulders.
His muscles, adorned in glimmering etchings of Lattices, caught the light of the sacred shore with a terrifying beauty.
He carried the goldfish like a prize. Like a symbol.
And in the haze of radiant existence, with mist curling like reverence around his ankles, he looked every inch the Early Creature this land had asked for!
Noah Osmont, an Early Creature!
