Chapter 3076: I Only Eat TermitesChapter 3076: I Only Eat Termites
Ning Shu refused outright. “I only eat termites.”
The lawyer: “…”
The lawyer silently gnawed on his fruit.
Ning Shu propped her chin up and used her spiritual consciousness to observe the person beside her.
Being a lawyer was considered a rather prestigious and honorable profession, yet even he couldn’t resist the temptation of money.
Who knew? He might just turn out like that housewife and suddenly pull out a dagger to kill her.
The two sat together in silence. The lawyer found the atmosphere unbearably awkward, so he started telling Ning Shu about some of the cases he had handled in the past.
To be honest, Ning Shu had absolutely no interest.
She had been a lawyer herself once.
Suddenly, the lawyer changed the topic and asked Ning Shu, “Do you want to make it out of here alive?”Although it was dark now, nothing could escape the probing of Ning Shu’s spiritual consciousness.
She saw the corners of the lawyer’s mouth curl up in the darkness. He looked just like a wolf eyeing a rabbit.
Without revealing any emotion, Ning Shu countered, “Of course, I want to leave. Don’t you?”
The lawyer subtly leaned in closer. Ning Shu could even feel his breath.
Damn it. The breath of someone who hadn’t brushed his teeth in ten days…!
“If we want to survive, we have to do what the walkie-talkie tells us,” the lawyer whispered. His voice was inaudible to anyone but Ning Shu.
Ning Shu kept her face emotionless. “And what exactly are we supposed to do?”
“What’s your task?”
“My task is to rape you,” the lawyer said in a low voice. “I don’t want to hurt you, but if we don’t comply, our lives will be ruined.”
Everyone here had weaknesses and sore spots that could be exploited.
“I deliberately chose to confess to you at night. I want to cause you as little harm as possible.
“Just treat it as consensual sex. When the time comes, just make sure to struggle to make it look convincing.”
Ning Shu: “…”
Did he really think that just because it was nighttime, the cameras wouldn’t record this?
He was too naive.
Even for something as despicable as rape, he still needed to come up with all these ways to justify it, to make it ‘better.’
Murder, sadistic torture, depraved sexual desires—this place truly was a sinful Eden, a playground for the ugliest sides of human nature.
He was a lawyer, but he had committed murder and was now attempting to rape a woman. He was completely trampling on the law he once stood for.
What kind of leverage did someone have over him to make him fall this low?
The lawyer reached out and began groping Ning Shu’s body. He even let out a disgusting laugh. He was doing it on purpose.
Ha. This was his task, so why should she be the one to suffer for it?
Ning Shu stood up, grabbed the tree branch from the ground, and swung it hard at the lawyer.
The lawyer let out a muffled cry of pain. He suppressed his voice as he said, “What the hell are you doing? Didn’t we agree to just put on an act?”
Ning Shu smirked. “Fine. Then act like you’re really suffering.”
She held onto the tree branch she used as a crutch and whipped him again and again.
The lawyer howled in pain and angrily caught hold of the branch. His facial muscles were shaking and his eyes were filled with malice. At this point, he really did look like he was about to assault her.
Ning Shu raised her foot and kicked him squarely in the crotch.
The lawyer let out a pained yelp and clutched his wounded privates.
Ning Shu propped herself up on her makeshift crutch, turned around, and limped away.
With her spiritual consciousness scanning her surroundings, she knew there was nothing dangerous nearby.
So, even though she was walking in the dead of night, she encountered no threats.
After walking for about two to three hours, she finally stopped.
