Chapter 1671 - 1671: I Have Transcended Mortal DesiresVillain Ch 1671. I Have Transcended Mortal Desires
He exhaled, long and defeated. “Why does this vibe feel completely wrong?”
Alice was already wrapping herself around his side like a spoiled cat that decided to own the house. She nuzzled her cheek against his shoulder with a purring hum and murmured, “Not wrong~”
Her arms draped over his back again, her breath warm against his skin. “You just gave us what we needed. So, we’re back to normal. Balanced. Refreshed. Centered.”
Allen stared at her with narrowed eyes. “Balanced? You were screaming two minutes ago.”
“Well, yeah,” Alice replied, still hugging him. “Balance includes both spiritual and emotional catharsis. Which you delivered. With authority.” She grinned and added, “Though I still need the real live-action sequel sometime.”
Bella clapped her hands once, her tails flicking in a chorus of jingles. “Anyway~ We’ve made… plans.”
Allen gave her a side-eye, already reaching for his discarded armor. “What kind of plans? A dungeon raid after this?”
He grabbed the chest piece and was about to slide it on when—
Alice pulled him back with zero hesitation, climbing into his lap again. Her lips caught his before he could say another word, and she whispered between kisses, “No, silly. A plan to screw you up more, darling~”
Allen blinked. His armor clattered somewhere behind him.
A new voice echoed from across the throne room. Calm. Crisp.
“You guys should stop teasing him. Have mercy.”
Allen turned his head.
There—at the far end of the banquet table like it was completely normal—sat Jane. Still in her black-laced avatar, sitting cross-legged with a half-empty goblet of corrupted wine in one hand and a candle lit beside her plate like it was a formal dinner.
“Jane?” Allen blinked. “How long have you been here?”
“Long enough,” Jane replied coolly, sipping her wine. “I was trying to meditate. But someone’s heavy breathing echoed across the crypt and knocked over three of my bone candles.”
Bella squinted. “Wait. You don’t usually act like this.”
Jane gave a serene smile. “Let’s say I’ve had enlightenment. I’m a calm person now.”
“Oh, that’s new,” Alice said, raising an eyebrow.
Jane stood, slowly, that same wine in hand, and started walking toward them with measured grace. Her heels clicked softly on the cryptstone, each step echoing with dramatic patience. “I have transcended mortal desires,” she said calmly. “I have bathed in stillness and silence. I am composed now.”
Allen tilted his head, actually surprised. “Did you stop reading those weird smut stories?”
But then—
Jane’s smirk wavered. Just a twitch.
As she neared Allen, that composed expression faltered entirely. She stopped two steps away, eyes fixed on him. Her hand tightened around the wine goblet.
“I’m calm…” she muttered again.
And then it happened.
Her smile vanished. Her voice cracked.
“I CAN’T CALM!”
Jane exploded.
She stomped a foot on the ground, the goblet nearly flying from her hand. Her eyes flared with frustration as she let out a sound that could only be described as a magical whine of cosmic suffering.
“I feel really hot since last night! This is torture!” Jane blurted, her voice pitching somewhere between a tantrum and a religious confession. “I can’t get you out of my mind. My mind and body crave you, Allen! It’s unbearable!”
Bella patted her head sympathetically, voice sweet and unbothered. “There, there. Poor you. I understand that.”
“I DON’T THINK YOU DO,” Jane snapped, still pouting hard enough to start a storm. “You already got body-slammed into ecstasy! I’m still stuck here simmering in demon juice and frustration!”
Alice, never one to miss a perfect opportunity for chaos, waved an arm in Allen’s direction like a showgirl presenting the main prize. “Well, he’s still naked. You can do it now~”
Allen threw his hands up and cringed. “Why do I feel violated just hearing that?”
“Because we’re honest,” Alice chimed in helpfully, grinning upside down from the floor.
Bella leaned against Allen’s shoulder like a lazy fox spirit draped over her favorite tree. “And we’re still mentally stuck on you. That’s your fault.”
Jane flopped onto the stone beside the throne like a dying maiden in a melodrama, groaning into the crook of her arm. “I seriously can’t get him out of my head since last night. It’s bad.”
“You’re telling me,” Bella muttered, sliding back onto Allen’s lap like she was claiming her seat again. “Every time I tried to do the dailies, my mind just went bam—instant rerun of you whispering ‘good girl’.”
Alice flailed a hand from where she lay dramatically sprawled. “I tried doing my daily slaughter mission and instead of making them fear me, I accidentally gave them a cursed heart emoji. The priest I killed proposed to me to marry him.”
Allen sighed and dragged both hands down his face. “Yeah… okay. That’s fair. I did break all of you.”
Jane peeked up, eyes twitching, lips trembling. “Why do you sound smug?”
“I don’t,” Allen said quickly.
“You do,” Bella and Alice chorused.
Jane sat up, brushed her bangs off her sweaty forehead, and pointed a very betrayed finger at him. “Just say it. You enjoy watching us suffer like this, don’t you?”
Allen, halfway into pulling on his pants, muttered, “You brought it on yourselves.”
Alice, not done being a menace, reached up lazily and flicked his belt out of reach. “Nope. You tempted us. You wrecked us. And now we want more~”
Bella nodded solemnly. “Exactly. You broke it. You own it.”
Jane crossed her arms like a sulky shrine maiden turned cult leader. “And you still owe me.”
Allen paused, suspicious. “For what?”
Jane tilted her head with a perfectly blank face. “For seducing my thoughts. And now I’m pretty sure doing it in the game won’t satisfy me anymore.”
Bella leaned into him again, smiling sweetly, tails flicking. “Well. You did promise a vacation, remember?”
“Oh no.”
Jane brightened instantly. “Mountain villa, right? The private one? With no signal? I’m already packed! I even pre-downloaded soft jazz playlists and sinful incense!”
Allen slumped back onto the throne. “You three are actual demons.”
Jane purred as she leaned against the armrest, fanning herself dramatically. “You say that like it’s a bad thing.”
And then—Bella leaned in closer, lips brushing his ear, her voice like a dagger dipped in sugar.
“You’re still naked, by the way.”
