“Yesterday!” I said. “With Ignis’ help, he’s a powerful Forging Spirit, you see. He’s also very knowledgeable about all these things, he’s an expert on everything, so he’s very useful.”

“Incredible, you must be amazingly attuned with the Spiritual Plane to even contract a spirit of his caliber…” She said. “Hello Sir Ignis, it is a pleasure to meet you.”

“Hahah, I already meet you back then in the living room, I was too small back then,” Ignis emerged from the furnace, resembling a blazing giant. “I’m glad to meet more of my master’s friends. And you seem like someone very strong as well.”

“Oh my, you are flattering me too much,” Olivia giggled. “You’re a very eloquent spirit, sir Ignis, a very rare sight for the land of mortals I suppose although I can assume that in Avalon it must be commonplace.”

“Avalon?” Ignis wondered, raising a blazing eyebrow.

“Just nod and say yeah,” I told him telepathically.

“Ah, yes, of course, in Avalon we all like to talk and converse,” he nodded. “Anyway, I suppose you’re here for more reforging, master. What should we get done today before you depart?”

“Well, a lot of stuff!” I said. “Let’s start with my shield first, this!”

I placed my shield over the table, as he glanced at it with intrigue. The shield was originally made of my own wood, some scrap metal, and spiritual energy, alongside spirits themselves.

Therefore, it was a Spiritual Shield, but not to the same extent as Morpheus, who was a literal living and breathing Spirit.

There’s a difference between Weapon Spirits and Spiritual Weapons.

Weapon Spirits are powerful Spirits that take the shape of a weapon, and Spiritual Weapons are weapons imbued with spiritual energy and that possess great elemental and magical properties.

In a way, they are kind of “alive” but aren’t spirits themselves, I suppose Irene is a good example of that, and the other named Weapons, which gained a Spiritual Soul thanks to the Divine Blessing of the Gods through my Ability [Pathway: Divinity].

Talking about that ability, I could probably use it right now, but every time I use it, the Gods have to unleash their power, and from what I’ve heard they aren’t really as strong as before.

Making them use their power on just these weapon upgrades again would be too much to ask, and it would be a waste of their limited divinity.

This is why I haven’t used it for a while now, even when we battled Demons at the mall, nor even against Merlinus, where I could probably still use it as well.

[Pathway: Divinity] is a very powerful Ability, too powerful to waste on things I know I can handle on my own strength.

I used it a lot before, when we just started fighting IRL, but now that we’ve accumulated a large quantity of power and have many Soul-Bound Skills that are very strong, there’s no reason to do this.

“I see, this shield is quite interesting…” Ignis nodded, as I glanced at its detail with the Wooden Tablet.

“It has two very strong Hidden Abilities, Life Dragon’s Shield and Gaia’s Divine Dragon Domain, I see! Are these imbued into the shield by a Divinity?” He wondered.

“Y-Yes…” I nodded, worried Olivia might end up even more shocked, but she remained mostly silent as she observed the forge.

“Interesting, it seems to have already been reforged using dragon scales… Four dragon scales of four powerful dragons…” He analyzed the shield. “To reforge it once more, we require scales even stronger than those.”

“Hm, I wonder if these would work?” I quickly opened my inventory, placing down the scales I had extracted from my various dragon transformations. Most of these were the ones when I transform here, which had become rather tough.

“Golden Scales, Silver Scales, Red and Green Scales, interesting! And they all belong to you, master? But their quality and strengths varies a lot! Oh, rainbow scales! Interesting!” Ignis analyzed the materials with a lot of interest. “How fascinating, I suppose we should get to work then! All of these should be enough for a sizable evolution through a reforging process, let’s begin, shall we?”

“Alright!”

The reforging process wasn’t quick, but I made it as quick as possible by combining my skills, techniques, and abilities.

We started by first melting all the scales through the highest temperature that Ignis could release, making his body inflate like a balloon while he inflated his face’s cheeks.

“Nnnggghh! B-burn…! Burn!”

They were very hard to burn after all, they were the scales of a Yggdragon! The first to melt were the scales extracted from IRL, then the green ones, then the golden ones, both belonging to my Draconification, then the silver ones, belonging to my true Yggdragon form, and lastly the rainbow ones, born from the combination of all my skills into my ultimate multi-headed dragon form.

As the scales finally melted, using Synthesis and Alchemy, I synthetized all the metals together, mixing them up with a lot of Spirits that I also infused into it using Spiritual Synthesis. Olivia and my family and friends glanced at the scene in awe.

“And now… Let’s cool them down.”

Once the liquid metal was fully merged and refined through alchemy and the divine spirit flames, we placed it on molds and created four ingots.

The ingots were mostly gold but had a rainbow-colored glow to them wherever you moved them, they glowed into many colors once sunlight hit them.

And they were very heavy!

The new alloy we created was called [Multi-Color Yggdragonium]!
