Chapter 1253 Bet

Cold sensations Khan couldn't get enough of enveloped him, digging into the very core of his being. Also, a foreign warmth spread inside his mind, fusing with what his body experienced to give birth to an otherworldly pleasure.

The pleasure wasn't alone nor simple. It was the fusion of two similarly intense feelings from two different sources that joined their power to send ecstatic shockwaves through Khan's brain. No drug in the world was even remotely comparable, putting Khan in a constant state of satisfaction and yearning for more.

Of course, the situation wasn't unique to Khan. Liiza was in the same state, immersed in the pilot's seat while her fingernails threatened to stab Khan's nape. She kept his face on her chest, gasping at every kiss, while her legs clung to his waist, accompanying his thrusts.

The couple had just settled on the bridge. The fact that Liiza was still in the seat meant that the foreplay had yet to end. However, it wouldn't be long before that slow, passionate moment stopped being enough for the two, and nothing on the ship could withstand what would come next.

That time, Liiza took care of making the move that would push the intimate moment to the next phase. She enjoyed one last kiss on her chest before pulling Khan's hair, forcing him to abandon her breasts to focus on her face.

Liiza bit her lower lip when the blue light shone on her face. Nothing aroused her more than Khan's captivated expression, and his serious mood always drew her in.

That time wasn't any different.

A happy smile broadened on Liiza's face when Khan tried to reach for her lips but was stopped by the cold hands on his hair. That game should have grown old years ago, but Liiza couldn't get enough of Khan's desperate yearning for her and soon rewarded him with a kiss.

Liiza didn't stop there. She pushed on Khan's shoulder while their lips stayed busy, planning to roll on top of him so that he could bring them in the air. Yet, the universe hated the idea of the two having sex that day.

A familiar aura suddenly touched the couple's senses, and a tremor accompanied its arrival. Still, neither Khan nor Liiza had the time to do anything about it since a short earthquake invaded the bridge, leading to an explosion that a loud voice suppressed.

"[Khan]!" Ilman's voice filled the bridge, becoming the main noise pollution.

Khan pushed Liiza down to hide her nakedness behind the seat's back while his head peeked past it. Ilman was running at full speed toward the control desk, but spotting Khan's gaze made him drop to his knees.

"[What is it]?" Khan groaned. He expected the issue to be minor, but Ilman had destroyed the metal door while rushing to the bridge. That bent carcass now lay on the floor with a vaguely humanoid-shaped dent, hinting at the fact that Ilman had headbutted it.

"[I broke your trust and my promise]!" Ilman declared. "[I'm willing to pay for it with my life]."

Liiza grew interested in the matter and tried to peek past the seat, only for Khan to push her down again, making her giggle.

"[What exactly did you do]?" Khan wondered, not recalling any promise whatsoever.

"[I allowed Jenna to kiss me]!" Ilman explained, lowering his head in shame, "[And I kissed her back]."

Khan felt the faint urge to destroy something, but a dark hand peeked past the seat's back, reaching his neck and pulling him down.

"[I want to kill him]," Khan whispered while Liiza reached for his ear.

"[He was your best man at our wedding]," Liiza reminded, "[And your greatest ally among my many suitors]."

Khan pulled his head back to exchange a meaningful glance with Liiza. The playful smile on her face didn't help him, but she still nodded up, silently telling him to deal with the situation before diving back on her.

"[Jenna kissed you]," Khan said, peeking past the seat's back again. "[Not the other way around, right]?"

"[Yes]," Ilman responded, lifting his head, "[But how does that make any difference? I promised never to do anything that might hurt Jenna]."

Khan felt a headache coming. Ilman was too serious for his own good, and Jenna obviously couldn't keep her hands to herself. The duo's attraction had been evident for everyone to see since their first meeting. Khan and Liiza actually had a bet going on about that.

Luckily, Khan didn't have to deal with the situation since a green figure appeared before the broken entrance. Ilman obviously sensed her and promptly turned, straightening his back before performing a deep bow.

"I apologize!" Ilman shouted. "I allowed myself to lose control of my feelings for a second."

"Is that why you ran away?" Jenna asked.

"Yes!" Ilman declared. "I was afraid I would have done much more and was seeking counsel or punishment or both!"

Khan knew those two unique characters required a mediator, but Jenna didn't look at him even once, and Ilman also seemed to have forgotten about his existence.

"Didn't you say that if I kissed you, I'd become your life?" Jenna questioned. "That making me happy would become your sole desire?"

"I stand by those words!" Ilman shouted. "It's why I can't risk having those feelings for you while doing that!"

Hearing that, Liiza shook her head. Somehow, Ilman didn't realize that those two points could go together. The fact that Ilman had tried to get between Khan and Liiza had made him unable to see that he could make someone happy while being their partner.

It was as if Ilman had convinced himself that his way of love was wrong due to that single, meaningful experience. Nevertheless, that wasn't Liiza's problem to solve. It was Jenna's, and she didn't even consider asking for help.

"Well," Jenna exclaimed. "I'll get hurt if you don't catch me."

Ilman didn't have the time to question Jenna since she suddenly jumped, forcing him to shoot forward to catch her. She ended up in his arms, being princess-carried right before the broken entrance.

"This is exciting," Jenna muttered, looking at Ilman while clinging her arms around his neck. "I did kiss you, so I hope you won't break your promise now."

"Never!" Ilman shouted.

"It would make me happy to spend some time alone," Jenna expressed. "Can you do that for me without putting me down?"

"Of course!" Ilman proudly claimed. "Leave it to me."

Khan could only watch as the two aliens left the bridge, disappearing past the broken entrance. He didn't know whether he had witnessed something romantic or completely idiotic, but the leg that caressed his naked thigh soon distracted him.

"[It's still just fourteen days]," Liiza pouted. "[This is the last time I bet on Ilman]."

"[I knew Jenna couldn't have helped herself]," Khan smirked, looking down at that beautiful face. "[Pay up now]."

"[We didn't set any stake]," Liiza laughed, reaching for Khan's waist with her legs to trap it again, "[But I have something in mind]."

"[Our dear and in love friend destroyed the door]," Khan half-joked and half-complained, but the mana in the area soon moved.

Thick, opaque ice rose from the broken entrance, sealing it. Khan barely had the time to glance at it before another cold hand went on his neck, pulling him down.
