Dark Magus Returns
Chapter 1203 - 1203: Factions Working Together (Part 2)Before leaving the Neverfall Clan, Raze had gone to talk to Lince, one person that was able to help him in the current situation. Something that he believed he might need in a fight.
“Yes,” Lince answered. “They all respectfully complied.”
Lince held out his hand, and coming through the large force of Demonic clan members were several carriages. As they stopped, Raze lifted the cover of one of the carriages and he could see it, it was filled to the brim, almost pouring out with power stones.
“The best power stones from within the Demonic Faction. They have all given it as a gift to you,” Lince explained. “In return, they wish for you to openly share the Qi pills that you have provided or the technique in how to create the Qi pills that have been spread throughout.”
Fixteen, who had overheard the words, eyes almost popped out of his head. For the longest time, him and the Crimson Crane had been in charge of the Qi pills, the business side of the Dark Magus.
He had been using the funds to support Flendon, to help rebuild the people among other things, but with this, if he was to share the recipe out, then there would no longer be any income left for them to gain.
Everything he had built up, it would fall in an instant.
“Let it go,” Dame said as he patted his long friend’s shoulder. “We started this journey, planning to use the Dark Magus, this person from another world with his talented items. We were planning to take advantage of him, thinking he was naive.
“Because of him, we have come further than we ever imagined, and the current situation right now. It’s bigger than just our own individual wishes. You have done well, but when Raze is gone, it’s up to us to build our own world up… we should start from scratch.”
Raze inspected the crystals and he could tell they were of high quality. It was exactly what he needed. He was just hoping that this would be enough.
“Make sure that these stay at the back of the force. I doubt that they will attempt to attack our supplies, or go after these even if they knew what they were, but I’m going to need them,” Raze declared.
“What do you plan to use them for?” Safa asked.
“In this fight, we need to hit them as hard and fast as we can. I’m going to put a mass amount of fear in them, before this fight even starts,” Raze answered.
This was it, everyone had been accounted for who was coming on the journey.
“We have information on where the Light Faction and empire have gathered. They have prepared themselves at the Aurora Clan base. They have castle walls, have set up towers and more from the look of things.
“They have decided to go completely on the defensive, they are ready for an attack,” Lince explained. “But I guess you already knew that, when you’re ready we’ll head out.”
There was no time to waste, Raze lifted his hand in the air. “Move out!”
On the other end in the Light Faction, a large force had gathered. Heino at the helm of everything had to make several choices.
Where would they defend the attack from? The Alter base was already destroyed so there was no way they could use that. So they had two choices.
To use the area where the empire was placed, an incredibly large city with complex mazes, streets and more. They would have the advantage of knowing the place inside out.
Or there was another option, to face them straight on. In an open field. In the end, Heino had chosen the latter and had picked the Aurora Clan’s base.
The base was in a city that had an older feel to it. The main building was that of a giant castle, and attached to the side was a large church that was where the Clan members would have their meetings.
A large stone wall was placed around the entire city, in a rectangle shape, and behind it, there was a fairly large river, where ships would come and go to deliver supplies.
The reason why Heino had chosen this place though, was because of the vast open empty field in front of it. There were mounds that would go up and down, hills but it was mainly long grass off in the distance for as far as the eye could see.
However, the land had changed somewhat. Giant stone towers mainly built out of earth had appeared. Out, they were distanced every fifty meters from each other.
In rows of six by six. Inside the towers there were several men. Then there were the groups of people on the outside, everyone was ready.
The Light Faction clans had gathered, the empire’s people had gathered as well, and everyone had their items in front of them. Heino along with Red was standing on the outfront wall looking at it all.
They could see several of the men talking and strategizing, and a meeting taking place between the Light Faction clans and the empire’s generals.
“You chose to fight them head to head, rather than in the capital?” Red asked. “I’m surprised you cared about the people so much.”
Heino had a smile as he placed his hand on the stone and gripped it tightly.
“Care about the people, I haven’t cared about the people for a long time,” Heino answered. “The Light Faction, most of them still have no idea of what is really happening if they were to fight with so many civilians in the way it would just hamper their skills.
“We are not the ones that should be afraid in the first place. For them to get through this, we’re ready, with 100,000 men to take them out.”
