EPIC OF ICE DRAGON: REBORN AS AN ICE DRAGON WITH A SYSTEM
Chapter 2004 Amehia's Visions—–
BOOOMMM!!!
After seeing the massive explosion created by the King of Muspelheim’s Underworld, Emerald and his Alter Ego quickly decided to move back and find Amehia and Tyrannus.
The enormous Aura and Pressure exerted by this ancient, primordial beast was enough to make most of these highly ranked monsters fall unconscious, while the others prostrated themselves to him and even lowered their heads.
With the powerful Demonic Armor that he created with his new powers, Emerald was confident Amehia and Tyrannus would be alive and conscious, but he didn’t know if they would be in a good state or not!
The Wind Dragon spread out his four feathered wings, flapping and rapidly moving at lightning speed through the skies, even with the immense weight of the pressure of the King’s Aura. This was mostly thanks to Emerald being a Wind Dragon, riding the winds allowed him to offset some of the weakness produced by that monster’s pressure.
Using this boost in speed despite the situation, Emerald rushed towards Amehia and Tyrannus, who were on the floor, unable to move. Emerald’s eyes widened, as both of his minds entered into panic.
“So the pressure got them too! Dammit!”
“Amehia!”
Both had become completely paralyzed, it seemed the pressure was so heavy even for them with an armor and everything, that they were simply stuck on the ground, like magnets.
There was a giant tree protecting them though, something Emerald didn’t know what it was, other than some sort of powerful spirit of some sort Amehia had summoned.
The Barrier produced by the three was already protecting the two, and even then, cracks were spreading through the gigantic tree, the pressure would eventually destroy it as well.
“E-Emerald…?”
Opening her eyes, Amehia slowly glanced towards Emerald, as the gigantic, feathered dragon descended, reaching his claws towards her and her father.
“P-Please, hang in there!”
Without hesitating, Emerald summoned his Heavenly Celestial Winds, especially the Spell that could heal them, and rapidly wrapped these bright, emerald winds around Amehia and her father.
FLUOOOSH!
The emerald and white colored winds quickly began to heal their exhaustion, and offset the pressure slightly, only for it to come back the moment they tried to stand up.
“Hmm, that won’t do…!”
“Hey, do a better work, dumbass!”
“I’m working on it… How about this?”
Emerald worked hard even when his Alter Ego mocked his incompetent, quickly combining Divine Runes with his Divine Powers and his Divinity Aura, fusing them into the equipment of Amehia and Tyrannus, as their pure red and black colors changed, gaining green and gold as well, their equipment became divided by both sides of colors and themes, similar to how Emerald’s body was now, one half was his original self, compassionate and brightly colored, and the other side was his Alter Ego, dark, blazing with flames and intensity.
The armor took shape rapidly and quickly gained several more blessings from Emerald’s side, one of the few great talents he had, the power to create and materialize Divine Blessings through his Celestial Heavenly Winds.
FLUOOOSH!
When Amehia and Tyrannus realized their bodies felt much lighter, they stood up, looking around, even when the immense pressure of that King of Monsters remained in the air, they were no longer as bothered as before to suddenly fall into the ground, at the very least.
“E-Emerald! You did it! That was amazing!” Amehia said, hugging Emerald’s giant, feathered, yet fluffy body.
“I-Incredible, you’ve improved the armor and weapons even more?!” Tyrannus wondered. “Just how boundless are your powers, Guardian Spirit?”
“Hahah, I just added more Blessings, that’s the only thing I’m good at…”
Emerald felt a bit embarrassed, acting humbly, which only pissed off his Alter Ego.
“No, he deserves the praise because he did an amazing job, so you better praise him more!”
“W-What are you saying? Don’t annoy them…”
“Tch! It is that damn humble attitude of yours that has made you into the weakling you are right now! You have to act more like a true dragon, be prideful and strong!”
“I-I don’t think those are necessarily the traits a dragon should have, everyone is different!”
“AARRGH! If only I could bite your damn face!”
“We share the same face, don’t be an idiot…”
“YOU DARE CALL ME AN IDIOT?!”
“Eeek! S-Sorry! Don’t get mad!”
Seeing Emerald fighting with himself was both hilarious and bizarre in a lot of ways… While Amehia seemed to find it funny, Tyrannus was confused and slightly scared of what the Guardian of his Village had become now.
Their discussion went so far that the Alter Ego side of Emerald’s body started punching the other side, even though he also felt the pain.
“Ouch! Stop hitting me! We are the same person! You’re just hurting yourself!”
“SHUT UP!”
“E-Emerald! Please calm down, don’t fight with your other self…!”
Amehia quickly intervened, finally realizing that if she didn’t, things would only escalate to more ridiculous proportions.
“Amehia…”
“But he gets into my nerves and…!”
“You decided to cooperate for me, right? So please get along…! I-It’s confusing for me too, honestly… But work together!”
“…”
“…”
Emerald fell into silence and nodded.
“Okay, Amehia, thank you… I think he calmed down now.”
“…”
It seemed that the Alter Ego was silent for some reason… Despite how driven by demonic destruction he was, when it came to the woman he loved, even Emerald’s Alter Ego born from negative emotions could be tamed.
“Amehia, I wanted to ask you what that thing is! It appeared out of nowhere and it suddenly blew up the sky…!” Emerald muttered, finally beginning to talk coherently.
“A-Ah! That gigantic monster…?!” Amehia looked into the skies. “It is indeed a fearsome creature… And… Ah!”
Her eyes widened, as the lizard girl looked at Emerald, and then back at the creature…
“Amehia?!”
“T-This is…!”
She suddenly fell silent, her eyes becoming blank out of nowhere.
Suddenly, Amehia felt her consciousness being dragged somewhere else.
A sea of fire.
“Eh?”
She looked around everywhere, finding flames in the sky, the ground, the seas, everywhere.
An endless, boiling world of lava, flames, magma, volcanoes, and mountains, fiery, crystalized and metallic forests spread everywhere.
And fearsome monsters that lived in these conditions roamed everywhere.
Amehia was no longer where she came from, but in another world entirely, not even Muspelheim could compare to this endless inferno where life somehow flourished.
And amidst this inferno of flames, giant titans with red skin walked around, hunting massive monsters, and enormous, beautiful red scaled dragons soared the skies in large flocks.
This inferno of flames, this endless burning paradise was their home.
“T-The Ancient Fire Titans… and the Fire Dragons?”
Both of whom had gone almost extinct by now, but that once reigned supreme within this beautiful, yet terrifying Realm as their supreme gods and rulers.
“The children of the flames, despite how long has it been, never left.”
And then she heard the gentle voice of a woman.
It sounded almost motherly.
“Huh? W-Who’s… there?”
Amehia looked around, confused.
Until suddenly, a gigantic figure emerged from the sea of boiling lava.
