Forbidden Wizard Charlotte has been trying to find the mastermind who dared to attack their Silver Tower’s wizard seeds.

Like she and the other Wizards had suspected, no clue was found in the magic city. She had eventually sought the help of a mysterious Fate Wizard.

But the Fate Wizard’s magic was blocked by another Fate Wizard. She then learned that the mastermind had the help of a Fate Wizard with him.

It’s not easy to find the identity of the mastermind. She had learned about the whole incident from Lara. During the attack, Vincent Carey was not inside the car.

She was thinking that the attack was related to Vincent Carey in the back of her mind, because she had verified with the family heads of three wizard seeds.

They didn’t have any issues with powerful organizations that could go against Silver Tower, which left her to think about the issue from another angle.

Since she couldn’t find the identity of the mastermind, she could use the Fate Wizard’s help to uncover whether the attack was connected to Vincent Carey or not.

So she had come today to meet the Fate Wizard. The Fate Wizard was an old woman. Her name was Elizabeth. People called her Eliza. She had the strength of a Forbidden Wizard. Nobody knew her real age. She usually did work for the Mage Union.

Even many Mage Union superiors didn’t know about her date of joining.

But ever since her lifespan was running out fast, she had stopped taking too many requests. But then old women agreed to help Charlotte because of the Mage Union.

The wizard seeds were the future of the Mage Union. Any attack on them was similar to an attack on the Mage Union.

That’s why she was helping her out. When Charlotte came to her residence, the old woman immediately knew. She could already predict that Charlotte had come to find details about the attack.

Charlotte walked into the building. Upon seeing the old woman, she immediately greeted her.

“What do you want this time?” the old woman asked.

Charlotte’s expression became serious. She was wearing purple cloth, but she dared not sit in front of this old woman.

Before Charlotte could speak, the old woman began to speak.

“I told you yesterday. Someone is blocking my magic. There is only one possibility for that: your enemy has the help of a Fate Wizard.”

“He has figured out that you would seek help from a Fate Wizard, so he met someone similar to block my magic,” old woman Eliza said in a serious tone.

Hearing that, Charlotte nodded to her. But she had come here for a different matter this time.

She said, “Lady Eliza, I have come here to clear my doubts on something else.”

“There is a new wizard seed in our tower. He was supposed to be in that vehicle during the attack.”

“But he had left earlier. I wanted to know whether the attack has anything to do with him,” Charlotte said in a serious tone.

Hearing that, Eliza smiled. She had guessed it right. She was thinking that Charlotte wanted to figure out the identity of the mastermind in her own way.

“Wait for a minute!”

Eliza uttered before closing her eyes. Seeing that, Charlotte didn’t disturb her. It was already great to meet a Fate Wizard.

Even for a Forbidden Wizard of the Mage Union, it was not easy to meet one.

Old woman Eliza opened her eyes. She said, “Are you thinking that the attack is connected to Wizard Seed Vincent Carey?”

Hearing that, Charlotte was shocked in her heart. But she knew it was nothing for the Fate Wizards.

She said, “Yes.”

Old woman Eliza said, “I can’t deduce too much about this kid. He has great wizard potential. But I can tell you what I found.”

Hearing that, Charlotte stood with bated breath.

“The mastermind’s target was Vincent Carey. The other wizard seeds were just collateral,” Old woman Eliza said.

Hearing that, Charlotte’s heart was in turmoil.

Before she could ask further, the old woman raised her hand to stop her.

She said, “You can leave now. I’m tired.”

Charlotte nodded to her before leaving her residence.

Old woman Eliza watched her disappearing back.

“The Silver Tower won’t be peaceful. The Mage Union won’t be at peace either in the future. A great wizard is going to be born,” she uttered in a trance-like state before losing consciousness.

Charlotte walked out of the community gate. She couldn’t help but pause her footsteps to recall the conversation.

“Someone is targeting Vincent Carey. Who could it be?” she asked herself.

She then immediately thought of Forbidden Wizard Remi. Her eyes turned icy. She recalled Forbidden Wizard Remi targeting Vincent at the magic arena last time.

She had been there to protect Vincent Carey at that time.

She then decided to investigate further on this. Since she knew it was related to Vincent Carey, she thought the mastermind would surface sooner or later.

From MC’s Perspective:

After getting ready, I exited the room and went to the underground storage room to start the daily job. It had been several days since I found good auction items.

Inside the underground storage room, I found new storage items. They had been brought here during my absence. Then I picked a couple of them before placing them on the wide desk.

The storage items were all packed well. I picked one before unboxing it. After completely opening the package, I saw an arrowhead that was absolute black in color.

The color was so dark that it would be invisible during the nighttime. But for wizards, it didn’t matter. They could spot the difference with their eyesight.

I picked the black arrowhead and used the system probe function on it. The result appeared on the status panel.

The arrowhead was made from special metal. It had properties to dispel mana. Seeing that, my eyes gleamed with a twinkle.

To verify, I used a gravity mana on the arrowhead. The next second, I saw the gray mana particles were all dispelled by the arrowhead.

Not a single mana particle was touching the surface.

A hint of seriousness appeared in my eyes.

“Don’t tell me it’s a weapon to kill mana creatures, including wizards,” I said in my heart.

Then I thought it could probably be an outer space item.
