GREED: ALL FOR WHAT?

Feya took a look at the map but couldn’t figure out what it was for. All she saw were circled locations that didn’t make sense to me her.

She couldn’t make sense of the map, but considering that she had been sent to find a traveler, she concluded that the map must be related to the traveler. So she decided to use the map as an anchor to do her job.

She took out a stick and held the string attached to one end of it. She raised the stick above the map and twirled the string. This caused the stick to swing around the surface of the map.

While this was going on, she used her rank 1 divine ability called Forecast. This divine ability works in the direction of the intent and in conjunction with the available information and the provided anchor to forecast a highly likely future or find out an obscure piece of information.

It was a slow process that might end in forecasting useless information. It can also end in total failure. Either way, it will cost her a lot of spiritual energy.

Fortunately, the forecast worked this time around, and she didn’t waste her spiritual energy. The stick stopped swinging above the map and instead became fixed above a certain location on the map.

This location wasn’t a random spot. It was one of the places that the warrior had circled as the location of the houses of lamp bearers with families.
