INFINITE RANGE: THE SNIPER MAGE

Chapter 363 - 363: 363: "Little Duckling, What Are You Yelling About?"

Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, Orson and Bradley soared into the air, landing at the center of the arena.

“Little golden man, challenge permissions are all open. You can define the terrain as you wish, do you dare to fight?” Orson’s voice rang out.

Bibienne looked at the adventurer before her with confusion.

This was different from any adventurer she had faced before.

She could feel an unprecedented, looming sense of deadly threat growing in her heart.

“Even the Silver Dragon Knight with his attendants was beaten down; how dare he bring a warrior to challenge the Golden Dragon Knight?”

“Godslayer’s strongest solo warrior isn’t weak, but he’s got an Imperial Champion swordfighter helping him. Isn’t that just using his own weakness to attack their strength?”

The players below were puzzled. Orgod was indeed absurdly strong, but bringing along a dead weight to fight? That was a little too reckless.

Victor lifted his black helmet, staring coldly at Bradley. “Adventurer, I sense a magical presence from you that I despise. What is your connection to Glacier?”

“Master and apprentice, what’s wrong? Afraid?” Bradley grinned.

“Tell him, I will send this person to the afterlife.” Victor said arrogantly, his gaze fixed on Bibienne.

“The Golden House never fears battle. Kill!”

Bibienne, who had been unsure just moments before, nodded at the command. With such a powerful ally by her side, no matter how strong the opponent, it was a one-way trip to death for them.

The attendant permissions activated!

Beast permissions activated!

Terrain: Palace Ruins.

The crowd watched as the arena suddenly transformed once again.

A massive palace complex appeared out of nowhere.

Columns of giant stone pillars collapsed, and scattered around the ruined walls were rusted, broken swords and halberds.

Before the grand hall, countless armored skeletons lay scattered across the ground, an ancient battlefield in ruins.

“The battlefield environment isn’t favorable for mages. With the length and width of only two kilometers, Orgod’s range advantage won’t be as effective here,” Blank commented.

Slaughter Spree: “I think that dragon alone could take on both of them. The only question is whether Money Traveler’s fat ass will drag us down.”

“What’s Orson going to do? Should I guard you, or…?”

Bradley hesitated and looked back at Orson.

“Golden Dragon Knight is in a life-sharing state. I’ll take out Golden Dragon Knight first, you hold the other one off. Once I’ve weakened it, we can focus fire together and you can finish it off,” Orson said, nodding with a smile.

“What? That’s it?” Bradley couldn’t help but roll his eyes. Listening to his older brother made it sound like killing an elite boss was a walk in the park.

“Yeah, it’s that simple. Give me one minute, I have a few heart-to-heart words to say to the Golden Dragons,” Orson said, his smile growing more sinister.

Bradley grinned. “How are you going to do that? Using that weird stick of yours? I’m looking forward to it.”

Orson’s lips curled upward as he flicked his equipment panel in Bradley’s face. “Look at the stick!”

[Mythical · Supreme · Archaic Arcane Blade]

Quality: Forbidden Magic-tier (Unsealed)

Level: 50

Class: Mage

Spell Attack: 3000

Attack Speed: 4.0

Critical Rate: 40%

Effect 1: Reduces skill cooldown by 30%.

Rune Sigil Stones:

[Never Deteriorate] Artifact-tier and lower weapons cannot damage it.

[Unbreakable] Has a small chance to destroy target equipment of the artifact-tier or lower.

[Inheritance · Heavenly Fire Effect] Grants a massive magical effect.

Six-set activated awakening skill:

① [Supreme Soul Disc]

Effect: Collects the souls of king-tier and higher beings to forge a supreme avatar. The avatar possesses 50% of the original’s full attributes, analyzing their primary skills and characteristics, allowing the avatar to use part of the original’s power for 30 minutes. Cooldown: 40 minutes.

Note: The weapon must be unsealed to Artifact-tier for full functionality. Requires six god-tier souls.

② [Sword of the Apocalypse]

Effect: Equip this to switch the player’s class to a temporary S-tier Chaos Mage, transforming into a temporary Chaos Swordsman. All learned magic skills are replaced with corresponding Chaos Swordsman skills.

Note: Attributes change, range is reduced to 200 meters, and attack power, critical rate, death/residual damage are increased. Mana is converted into battle energy, granting health, damage reduction, and faster cooldowns.

“Holy shit! What kind of monster equipment is this? It can create avatars, and it switches classes?!”

Bradley stared at the equipment attributes, nearly dropping to his knees.

This set of super gear was beyond the word “abnormal”; it was outright defying the heavens!

The scariest part was that this thing could still be unsealed into an Artifact!

With the help of Veijander, who fused several Rune Sigil Stones, Orson had added three special effects to his equipment.

[Never Deteriorate] and [Unbreakable] were so powerful that even Veijander struggled to ensure their success.

He spent a staggering 1.7 million gold to complete the effects, almost selling everything he owned just to upgrade the gear.

And the [Inheritance] stone dissolved a full set of Heavenly Fire equipment. In theory, it should inherit two key properties from the Heavenly Fire Set.

However, after the set was broken down, the desired effect still hadn’t been achieved, leaving Orson with no choice but to try again by creating a new Heavenly Fire Set.

Unfortunately, with not much gold left, Orson had to give up.

“The total cost was 43 million gold, plus three divine items, and it still needs to be unsealed…” Orson sighed.

“Holy crap, this is expensive!” Bradley was dumbfounded.

Orson nodded helplessly. He wasn’t sure whether this equipment could be truly considered completed. On the surface, it looked like it could be unsealed into an Artifact, but upgrading it to an Artifact wasn’t easy.

Six god-tier souls were required, meaning he would need to defeat someone like the Dark Dragon King Rebellion six times—a nearly impossible task.

“Me too,” Bradley said, holding his hand out to Orson without a hint of embarrassment.

“Sure, once I have money, I’ll make a set for you,” Orson laughed. They were old friends, and he would gladly arm Bradley to the teeth with Artifact gear.

“Forget it. I’m just kidding. You can’t give me something this expensive. I’ll just die for nothing.” Bradley shook his head, laughing.

Orson smiled and nodded, planning to give him the warrior set dropped by the Ashen King instead.

At that moment, the golden sun appeared in the sky, and Golden Dragon Knight Bibienne, mounted on the massive dragon, ascended, her gaze cold and proud as she stared at Orson.

“Heretics who touch the power of darkness must die!”

Victor’s cold expression intensified as he rushed toward the ruins of the palace, locking his eyes on Bradley, the eldest disciple of Glacier.

“What is he doing? Still talking?”

“He doesn’t need range suppression, at this distance, it’s a one-way trip if he gets close!”

“Victor’s damage is terrifying. He almost killed Silver Dragon Knight’s wife. What the hell is he playing at?”

The players watching the arena were confused. Everyone knew that the US Triple Crown winner had an absurd range advantage.

He often used this range to suppress bosses, or performed long-range, mindless attacks that made even the most overpowered NPCs struggle up close.

“I’m going in, Orson!”

Seeing Victor continue to approach, Bradley’s brow furrowed. He drew his twin blades, charging forward fearlessly.

“Here, take this, stay alive.”

Orson tossed Bradley a bottle of Rootless Water, a life-saving item with a resurrection buff. With Bradley’s skill and power, holding off Victor for a few minutes wasn’t an issue.

Bibienne sneered, “Ant, three moves and I’ll take your worthless life!”

With that, the Golden Dragon roared, its eyes locking onto the Crimson Lizard King, a creature even larger than itself.

“Hey, little duckling, what are you yelling about?”

Just as the Golden Dragon’s wings spread, preparing to charge, a voice suddenly rang out from behind Bibienne.
