Chapter 4385: Lv. 1
I woke up before dawn as usual and freshened up before walking into the practice room to practice Garsonath Transformation.
I am making good progress in the face-changing method, but here, too, the forbidden power had messed things up.
I can’t tell how far I am, but I can see my level. I am pretty far, but I don’t mind.
I love to practice it, it’s not frustrating, it’s because I know that once I finish the level. It would make it even harder for people to find out who I am.
The method had already helped me tremendously. Without it, I wouldn’t have been standing here.
It would help me even more after I finish practicing the third level.
I finished the session and rested for a while before walking into the bathroom and showering up.
After I came out, I changed into the new clothes and stepped out of the cottage. It is still dark, but many people are awake. Some had woken up not long ago, while others have never slept.
As usual, I reached near the statue and began to climb it. A few minutes later, I was on top.
Three and a half minutes later, I watched the sun come out. I stayed there till it came out fully and talked to the familiar people before starting to climb down.
I ate breakfast as usual in the restaurant before walking toward my cottage.
It had been three days since I had returned, and I went back to the familiar schedule. It is calming compared to the unpredictability of the outside.
Soon, I reached near my cottage and about to turn toward it, when I saw a person coming toward me.
"Prime Arys," the woman greeted. "Prime Avana," I replied. The woman smiled before her expression turned serious.
The council had met yesterday and decided that you had contributed enough to the village; therefore, we have granted you Lv. 1 access.
A surprise couldn’t help but flash in my eyes.
Everything may seem casual in here, but the village works like an organisation with Prime Karamiv being the head and the council helping him to run things.
"Thank you," I said, still surprised, but also happy, as it would make many things easier.
Now, I won’t need to take the special permissions for the few things I want to do.
"You do not need to thank me, Prime Arys. You had earned this by saving Prime Wolfden and contributing the knowledge to the village."
"If there weren’t the rules, the council would have granted you the Lv. 2 access," she replied.
I couldn’t help but smile at that.
"Prime Rava, liked the things?" I asked. To that, she sighed and massaged her head. "That would be an understatement." She replied.
"She became obsessed with them. So much that she hadn’t slept since I had handed the storage to her,"
"She wouldn’t have eaten also, if not for me forcing her. The only thing she is doing willingly is seeing her patience, and that is only because she wants to test the new methods on them," she added, making both of us smile.
I could understand it too well. I behave like that whenever a new floor of the library opens.
New knowledge is too exciting not to get lost in it.
"I am glad," I said.
The woman smiled and handed me a blue stone badge before walking away.
I saw her leaving before turning to the blue stone badge. It looked like a stone, but its not. It is an elegantly crafted piece of artifact that is connected to the formation of villages.
A moment later, I placed my soul sense on it. Immediately, the information entered my mind, putting a smile on my face.
I was planning on going back to the cottage. Instead, turned and walked back toward the statue. Soon, I reached it and entered through the bronze gate.
I followed the signs before reaching a large iron gate guarded by the two Sky Sovereigns.
They are here for the show only, as the real threat is formation and the soul sense always covering it; the soul sense belongs to one of the most powerful Primes in the village.
"Welcome to the repository, Prime Arys," greeted the woman with the red horns.
"Thank you," I replied and turned to the door.
Click!
I looked for a second before scanning my badge. A moment later, the clicking sound rang out, and the door began to open.
I waited till it was open before stepping into the massive space.
The mountain is grand, but these people have hallowed it throughout the years. It is now covered in massive formation, along with the resources of the realm.
I looked at a massive space filled with equally massive shelves.
All the shelves were filled with a massive amount of resources. There are every type of resource here, from plants to metals to crystals and all the other things.
Seeing it, my eyes couldn’t help but light up like the sun.
It took me over a minute to get control over my emotions before I started to walk shelf by shelf. Looking at each resource, committing it to memory.
Lv. 1 access not only allows me to view it, but also grants me access to take a certain number of them.
Right now, I am not thinking about it. The thing, I want to do is explore.
Minutes passed, and I looked at shelf after shelf; I don’t know how much time had passed, but I reached the last shelf.
Seeing that, I began to climb down.
This isn’t the only floor they have; they have been here for millennia, and they have gathered resources beyond belief. Right now, with my access, I could only see up to the third floor.
The rest, I could only see through the special permission or the greater access.
Soon, I reached the minus second floor, which had even rarer resources. The lower one goes, the rarer and powerful the resources become.
There is a massive amount of it. I don’t know how many floors there are, but I want to see it all.
I also want to see the hibernation chamber. In my world, we had something like that in the pyramid, but it was used for a different purpose.
Here, they use it a little differently.
