Bang!
Continue your adventure at My Virtual Library Empire
A fist slammed against the round table, the sharp impact reverberating through the room. The hooded figures turned their heads, eyes filled with curiosity and surprise. What had suddenly gotten into him?
The man who struck the table clenched his fists, his body trembling beneath the suffocating pressure radiating from Mr. Black.
“Mr. Black, we know we’ve failed you. Our incompetence has shamed the organization, and we do not deserve your forgiveness.” His voice was strained, his breath unsteady—but he refused to back down.
Then, he raised his head, determination burning in his gaze.
“However, I beg you to give us another chance. There is still time. We can retrieve the dagger and bring it to you—even if it means reducing the Imperial City to ashes.”
Mr. Black’s brows arched slightly.
“You fools have already failed once. What makes you think this time will be any different?” His tone was cold, laced with disdain.
Another hooded figure leaned forward.
“Mr. Black, we swear to you—we will succeed. This failure was not ours. It was Skull Hunter and his worthless subordinates who failed you. Failed us.” His voice carried barely contained fury.
“That’s right! Skull Hunter was the one who ruined the mission. We had nothing to do with his failure.”
“Indeed. It was his recklessness that cost us the treasure.”
A brief silence followed, before Mr. Black let out a deep sigh.
“Skull Hunter failed because of an unfortunate intervention… from that rising hunter—Yuan.”
The room stiffened at his words. A ripple of disbelief spread among the figures as they exchanged uneasy glances.
“Yuan?” one of them muttered. “The same one who—”
Mr. Black cut him off.
“Yes. Him… and Princess Valeria Lionheart. That bastard hunter and the princess got in the way, and as a result, Skull Hunter lost his life.” His voice grew colder. “A costly mistake. A humiliating setback.”
The tension in the room thickened, the air heavy with unspoken rage.
Then—
“How about I take charge of the mission this time?”
A sultry voice echoed through the dimly lit chamber, drawing every pair of eyes toward the entrance.
A beautiful woman strode in, her curvaceous figure clad in a dangerously revealing outfit. Her presence was commanding, rebellious—almost intoxicating. A confident smirk played on her lips, her dark lipstick adding to her seductive charm.
The hooded figures instinctively swallowed as she approached, her gaze flickering over them with an almost predatory amusement.
The air trembled around her as she stepped forward, her presence both alluring and oppressive. First Commander Darlene was not just a beauty—she was a force to be reckoned with.
Her hips swayed with each step, her revealing outfit accentuating every movement. Even in the dimly lit room, her piercing gaze seemed to command attention.
“First Commander Darlene, it’s good to see you well. But I must admit, I didn’t expect to meet you here.” One of the hooded figures spoke, his voice laced with barely contained desire as his eyes lingered on her form.
Darlene glanced at him, chuckling softly, her lips curling into a smirk.
“Well, what can I say? I have a good sense… for interesting things.”
Then, her gaze shifted, locking onto Mr. Black, who sat with unshaken confidence on his luxurious sofa. His eyes studied her, his powerful mana rippling through the air—a silent display of dominance.
Darlene’s smirk deepened.
“Leader, I’d like to take this chance to have some fun. Let me retrieve that treasure for you—I won’t disappoint.”
Mr. Black remained silent for a moment, his golden mask betraying no emotion. Then, he spoke.
“Darlene, are you certain you wish to take this mission? It could be… difficult. The Celestial Blades are in the Imperial City.”
At the mention of the Celestial Blades, a few hooded figures flinched. That hunter party was known to be deadly, an elite force blessed by the heavens themselves.
Darlene, however, simply laughed.
“I’m one hundred percent sure, Leader. I’ll take five of our elite members with me. A larger group would attract unwanted attention, and we don’t need that.”
Mr. Black exhaled slowly. “Very well. Take as many as you deem necessary. I don’t care how you do it—just succeed.”
Darlene placed a hand on her hip, her ruby lips curling into a grin. “Have faith in me, Leader. We won’t fail. That’s a promise.”
Mr. Black nodded. “Good. Now go. The auction is tomorrow—we don’t have time to waste.”
Suddenly—a portal shimmered into existence behind him, swirling with ominous energy. Rising from his seat, he stepped forward without hesitation, his figure vanishing into the darkness.
The portal blinked shut, leaving the room in stunned silence.
“Unbelievable…” One of the hooded figures muttered, his voice tinged with awe. “Mr. Black has mastered a new magic…!”
“He’s grown even stronger! The Golden Skull Organization is reaching heights never seen before!” Another added, excitement flashing in his voice.
“Once we retrieve the dagger, we’ll become so powerful that not even the gods of Floating Heaven will dare to stand in our way!”
“Yes… those arrogant gods who look down on us… soon, they will fear us!”
Their whispers filled the room, voices trembling with anticipation and mad ambition.
Darlene, however, merely let out a soft chuckle. She turned on her heel, silently exiting the chamber. She saw no need to inform them of her departure—they were irrelevant.
For now, her only focus was the dagger—and the thrill of the hunt.

“I’ve asked the servants to prepare the room next to ours for Lady Aisha. I hope she doesn’t mind the arrangement.” Valeria smiled at Anna Grace before glancing at Aisha.
Aisha chuckled softly. “Mind? Not at all. Thank you, Valeria.”
Anna Grace smiled warmly, pleased by her daughter-in-law’s thoughtfulness. “I appreciate it, Valeria.”
Valeria waved a hand dismissively. “What are you saying, Mother-in-law? We’re family. This villa is yours too, you know?” She then leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss on Yuan’s cheek before wrapping her arms around his neck and settling onto his lap.
Anna Grace nodded, her smile deepening. “Yes… we are family.”
The evening continued with lighthearted conversation before they all eventually retired to their rooms—tomorrow’s auction was too important to risk waking up late.
Before parting ways, Lily turned to Aisha, offering a warm hug. “Aunt Aisha, if you need anything, don’t hesitate to knock on our doors, okay?”
Aisha returned the hug and watched as Lily, Yuan, and his wives entered the same room—including Anna Grace.
Her eyes widened slightly.
‘Wait… why is my big sister going in with them? Are they… all sleeping together?! This is unbelievable!’
A flush of curiosity and something she couldn’t quite name settled in her chest, but she shook the thought away and entered her own room, closing the door behind her.
Once inside, she retrieved her sleeping attire from the magic pouch tied at her waist, changing quickly before slipping into bed.
As she lay in the dim glow of the moonlight, her thoughts drifted.
‘It’s hard to believe… that I’m attracted to my own nephew…’
A slow, almost dreamy smile formed on her lips as she imagined how her mother might react if she ever found out.
‘What would Mom say about this?’
Then, her thoughts shifted.
‘I wonder how she’s doing… Stacy should be taking good care of her. But if that bastard tries anything… I don’t care if he’s my father or not, I’ll handle him myself.’
Her expression darkened momentarily before softening again.
‘And she still doesn’t know she has two grandchildren now… I wonder how she’ll react when she finds out. I’m sure she’ll be overjoyed to see them with her own eyes.’
Aisha let out a quiet sigh, a gentle smile lingering on her face as she finally drifted into sleep.
—
Meanwhile, in Yuan’s room, Anna Grace rested atop him, her arms wrapped around his torso as she listened to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
A contented smile played on her lips.
‘This warmth… this is where I belong.’
Anna Grace lifted her gaze to Yuan’s face, her eyes holding a quiet curiosity.
“Darling, tell me honestly… What do you think about Aunt Aisha? Do you like her as well?” Her voice was gentle, her lips curving into a soft smile.
Yuan met her gaze without hesitation. “I like her. She’s beautiful, just like you.” He smiled, tightening his arms around her slender waist.
Emma, resting her head on his chest, tilted her face up and asked with a playful smile, “What about Miss Zara? Do you like her too?”
Yuan paused for a moment before replying, “As for Miss Zara… I’d like to take things slow with her. She’s not the type to rush into things.” He smirked slightly before adding, “And as for Aunt Aisha… I’m sure she’s interested in me as well.”
Emma let out a small chuckle, her eyes twinkling. “I see… But don’t keep them waiting too long, especially Miss Zara. You never know what’s going on inside her mind.”
Anna Grace laughed softly before leaning in, her lips brushing against his in a deep, lingering kiss. “She’s right, you know.”
Emma soon followed, pressing a soft, passionate kiss onto his lips. The rest of Yuan’s wives shared the same intimate moment with him before they all drifted off into sleep, content in his embrace.
—
The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, Yuan and his wives decided to bathe before getting ready for the auction.
Though Yuan wasn’t particularly interested in attending, he still chose to go—after all, there was always a chance that something valuable might appear.
A warm bath was the perfect way to start the day, and after soaking in the relaxing water, they all dressed in elegant, expensive attire, ensuring their hairstyles and accessories complemented their already breathtaking beauty.
Anna Grace, now fully ready, turned to Yuan and smiled. “Are you ready, Darling?”
Yuan glanced at her—her stunning appearance, her red, seductive lips. The urge to kiss her right then and there was strong, but he knew better than to ruin her carefully crafted look before the auction.
Suppressing the temptation, he nodded with a smile. “I’m ready. How about all of you?”
“We’re all set,” Lily replied, adjusting the final touches on her dress.
Anna Grace added, “Let’s check if Aisha is ready. Miss Zara and Little Zoe will be joining us too.”
After regrouping with Aisha, Miss Zara, and Little Zoe, they left Valeria’s mansion, making their way toward the Imperial Stadium—the grand venue where the auction would take place.
