“Those human scum! How dare they treat my people so horribly?! I’ll exterminate every one of them!” Mireya gritted her teeth, a cold, furious expression twisting her beautiful face as she clenched her fists tightly.
Sylvia had the same reaction upon witnessing the suffering of the elves inside the magnificent mansion. The nobles were treating them so inhumanely that all the elves bore deep, hideous scars on their bodies. Some of them had even lost their long, beautiful ears—brutally cut off by the nobles for entertainment. Such behavior was nothing short of monstrous and completely unacceptable!
“Let’s hurry and free the elves from their suffering as soon as possible… Their condition isn’t very good. We have to heal them quickly,” Yuan said, his expression grim as he observed the wounds and injuries on the female elves within the mansion.
Mireya and Sylvia nodded, their faces dead serious as they slowly descended toward the mansion alongside Yuan and the others.
“W-Who are you people?! You can’t come inside! Leave this place immediately!” The guards standing at the front of the mansion immediately approached with weapons drawn, their faces full of hostility.
Yuan glanced at them with cold indifference. He picked up a few small stones from the ground, infused them with Qi, and casually tossed them at the guards’ heads.
Swish! Splash!
Upon impact, the stones struck with such force that the guards’ heads exploded like watermelons. They didn’t even have time to realize they were dead—the projectiles were too fast, too precise.
“I didn’t think you would kill them in such an unusual manner, Darling,” Grace said with a soft chuckle. She was genuinely surprised—Yuan had never acted quite like this before.
“Well, I’m too lazy to use my sword against them. Besides, they aren’t worthy of dying by my sword. It would only get stained with their filthy blood,” Yuan replied as he stepped forward.
“I agree with you,” Anna said, nodding with a small smile before she followed him.
Shortly after, Yuan and his wives stood before the mansion’s massive front door. It was an extravagant structure—beautiful but clearly reinforced and built to withstand attacks.
“Are we going to knock on the door or something?” Emma asked, her voice laced with confusion as she looked at Yuan, unsure of what he intended to do.
“Of course not. We destroy it,” Yuan replied with a wide grin. He stepped back a few paces, clenched his fists tightly, and assumed a combat stance.
“Here we go…” Yuan mumbled under his breath before launching a powerful punch at the door.
Bang!
The entire door shattered into countless fragments under the force of the blow. Even the stone walls it was mounted to cracked from the impact.
The commotion immediately alerted everyone inside the mansion. Within seconds, a crowd had gathered near the destroyed entrance, their eyes wide with disbelief.
“Who the hell is causing this ruckus when I’m in the middle of something?!” A young man stormed into the scene, rage burning in his eyes as he stepped in front of the wrecked doorway. His gaze immediately locked onto Yuan and his wives.
Then his expression shifted.
‘Those women… they are so beautiful…’ As soon as his eyes landed on the women behind Yuan, that was the only thought that echoed in his mind.
“Who are you people, and what business do you have here? Don’t you know this is a proud noble household? And yet, you dare to act so cocky?” the young man spoke with a proud expression, casting a lustful smile at Anna and the others.
“You nobles are always thinking very highly of yourselves… it disgusts me the most,” Yuan mumbled in a low voice and sighed.
“What did you say, you bastard?!”
The young nobleman’s expression twisted with fury upon hearing those words, as if Yuan had struck a deep nerve.
“How dare you speak to me in such a rude manner? Don’t you know who is standing before you?” the young nobleman shouted at Yuan, his voice trembling with rage.
“Shut your mouth if you don’t want to lose your life, you imbecile! And bring all the elves you have and release them immediately!” Mireya said, her voice cold and her gaze sharp enough to freeze bones.
“Oh? So you bunch of fools are here to free those slaves I brought? That makes sense—no wonder you’re acting so arrogantly in my presence…” the young nobleman chuckled as he looked at Yuan and his wives with a surprised smirk.
And he continued, his arrogance seeping through as a creepy smile curled on his face, “However, you’ve made a huge mistake by coming here. Do you think you’ll be able to leave this place? You might’ve come here on your own, but you won’t be leaving if I don’t permit it.”
“After all, how can I let someone leave unpunished after being so disrespectful to me—a proud noble of this empire?” His grin widened. Immediately, hundreds of guards began surrounding Yuan and his wives from all directions.
“And as for the slaves you’re looking for… I will not release them. They are my property now, and I’m the one who decides their life or death. Only I can decide that.”
“Guards, take good care of these uninvited guests for me. Make sure not to kill them—I need them alive. But that man… kill him. He has no use to me,” the nobleman sneered before turning around to leave.
“Leave everything to us, Young Master! We’ll take really good care of them for you. Hehe!”
The guards grinned darkly as they closed in on Yuan and his wives, looking at them like hungry predators eyeing their prey. Since they couldn’t sense any Mana from Yuan’s group, they felt no danger.
“Hehe! Now get ready to be beaten for disrespecting our Young Master…!”
“Punishment is on the way for you fools who dared to act so arrogantly in front of him!”
The guards pointed their weapons at Yuan and his wives, their mocking smiles growing wider with each step forward.
“Heh? A bunch of fools trying to act cocky in front of us… I wonder where you fools get that confidence from…” Sylvia muttered, a wide grin spreading across her face as she gripped her dagger tightly.
“I’ll leave them to you, Sylvia. Take them down immediately. After all, we can’t waste our time on a bunch of nameless fools,” Yuan said, a calm yet confident look on his face.
After all, the guards were mere mortals with a bit of strength—no match for Sylvia, a peak Spirit Grandmaster. Taking them down would be as easy as flipping the palm of her hand.
“These guys are nothing. I’ll take care of them. Meanwhile, you guys go and free our people. Also, teach that noble brat a proper lesson!” Sylvia said.
“Leave everything to us. He won’t get away with this,” Julie replied with a wide grin on her face as she retrieved her sword from her spatial ring.
Once Yuan and his wives entered the mansion, Sylvia looked at the guards surrounding her with a wicked grin.
“Get ready to lose your lives, scum in human skin!” Sylvia shouted, a serious look on her face before she suddenly vanished from their sight.
“W-Where did she go?!”
“Find her immediately! We can’t disappoint the Young Master!!”
Panic set in. They looked around frantically, trying to locate Sylvia, but even with their mana sense, they couldn’t detect her.
“Looking for me? I’m right here.” Sylvia’s soft, yet bone-chilling voice came from behind them.
As soon as her voice reached their ears, their bodies froze like statues. Cold sweat dripped down their backs, and they swallowed nervously.
A suffocating pressure descended, making them tremble, as if a predator was looming over them, ready to strike.
“W-What the hell is this feeling?? Why do I feel like I’m about to die now??”
One of the guards muttered, his voice trembling, his legs nearly giving out beneath him.
But before they could even turn around, their vision blurred. Confusion set in.
They instinctively touched their necks, feeling something wet and sticky. When they looked at their hands, their eyes widened in disbelief—then despair.
Moments later, their heads began to fall from their shoulders, followed by their heavily armored bodies collapsing to the ground.
“It was too easy… and at the same time, quite boring. They couldn’t even fight back before dying.” Sylvia sighed in disappointment, her voice tinged with a sense of loss.
—
Meanwhile, inside the mansion, Yuan and his wives killed everyone—men and women alike—including the noblewomen who were abusing the captured female elves.
“You piece of shit! Do you think you can get away with doing something so horrible to my people?!” Mireya shouted as she punched the young nobleman in the face.
Her punch landed with immense force, breaking his jaw and sending several of his teeth flying to the floor. He immediately clutched his face, screaming and rolling on the ground in agony.
“Aghhhh! Please let me go! I didn’t do anything wrong!” he howled, his voice filled with desperation and pain.
“You’re going straight to hell for torturing and using my people as your playthings!” Mireya growled, her eyes blazing with fury. Then, without a hint of hesitation, she began ripping his limbs from his body—one by one.
The nobleman’s blood-curdling screams echoed throughout the mansion. But no one came to his rescue—everyone else had already been slaughtered.
The enslaved female elves watched the gruesome scene unfold, their tear-streaked faces cold with quiet satisfaction. The man who had committed so many unspeakable acts against them was finally suffering—dying slowly and painfully before their eyes.
Mireya walked up to her people with a soft smile on her face, making sure everyone in the mansion was dead before approaching them.
“You all have suffered a lot. I can see that. But now, you are free. All the pain and torment you’ve endured ends here,” Mireya said gently, her voice filled with emotion as she looked at the wounded and trembling elves.
The female elves were far too emotional to respond with words. Tears streamed down their faces as they silently nodded, their hearts overwhelmed with the realization that their suffering had finally ended. Their queen had come to rescue them.
With a wave of her hand, Mireya destroyed the slave collars hanging around their necks, the metal shattering to pieces. Relief flooded the elves’ expressions, and faint smiles returned to their faces.
Unfortunately, Mireya didn’t have any healing potions with her to treat their wounds.
A few moments later, Ava carefully gathered the freed elves and escorted them to the Imperial Palace in a carriage—after all, she couldn’t possibly transport so many injured women on her flying sword.
Once Ava departed with them, Yuan and his wives headed to the next noble household to rescue more of their people.
One by one, they raided every noble estate that kept female elves in captivity. Not every household resisted—some quickly surrendered the enslaved elves after receiving a few well-deserved beatings.
Unfortunately, others refused to cooperate. Those who dared to resist or continued to mistreat the elves paid with their lives. Yuan and his wives showed no mercy. If any noble treated an elf cruelly, they were executed without hesitation.
In just a couple of hours, they had freed all the female elves who had been captured, sold, or enslaved across the capital.
At the same time, this decisive and brutal operation caused a massive commotion throughout the empire—and even beyond its borders. While many people celebrated this act of justice, there were also those who seethed in anger and disappointment, particularly those who had dreamed of one day owning a female elf as a slave.
When Yuan and his wives finally returned to the Imperial Palace with the rescued elves, their expressions were grave. Many of the freed elves were in urgent need of medical attention. The horrors they had suffered at the hands of cruel nobles were evident in their injuries and vacant, haunted eyes.
