Space collapsed, and the world started to shake violently. After that, a terrifying aura erupted, sending ominous ripples through the void. Long Chen’s expression darkened at the sight of those ripples.

In a flash, he appeared before the Ten Thousand Dragon Nest, slamming his hands onto it. The immense structure shuddered, and its gates burst open.

Before anyone could react, a powerful suction force yanked them all inside.

“Big brother Long Chen, what’s happening?!” Xiao Yue and the others cried out.

Suddenly, powerful astral winds struck the Ten Thousand Dragon Nest, causing the entire nest to shake violently. Long Chen activated the Ten Thousand Dragon Nest’s vision, revealing a horrifying sight—blood-colored wind blades howled through the sky, carving countless terrifying cracks into space. It was like hell on earth.

Tang Wan-er and the others were shocked by what they were seeing. Fortunately, they had entered the Ten Thousand Dragon Nest, or those terrifying wind blades would have claimed countless lives.

These wind blades filled the heavens and the earth. There was no place to run. Based on Long Chen’s calculations, only cultivators with three condensed core veins could survive in this storm. Those with two core veins would be at the mercy of fate.

Even someone with three core veins could be heavily injured or killed by these wind blades if they were caught off-guard.

Long Chen narrowed his eyes at the raging storm. A sinister aura emanated from it.

This was the Emperor reverse scale’s sinister scheme. It had fully woken up, which indicated that a bloodbath was about to start.

Now that it had regained consciousness, it was using itself as bait to lure heavenly geniuses into freeing it. The reason Long Chen could sense the danger beforehand was thanks to his dragon blood power. It had sensed the Emperor reverse scale’s killing intent.

“You resort to sinister schemes? That’s not the style of the prideful dragon race,” snorted Long Chen.

For the first time, he felt genuine disdain toward the Primal Chaos Dragon Sovereign’s heart-devil. From its aura alone, he sensed a sinister, ruthless will—one that would stop at nothing to achieve its goal. What a thug.

The Emperor reverse scale’s dragon blood and Long Chen’s own originated from the same source. Across the vast void, he could almost see a pair of malevolent eyes staring back at him.

His blood boiled in response.

The wind blades continuously raged, blowing the Ten Thousand Dragon Nest back. However, it was incredibly solid, and even without entering a defensive state, this kind of attack couldn’t cause any damage to it.

For two full hours, the storm howled.

The Ten Thousand Dragon Nest continued to be pushed back. Long Chen had no idea how far they had been thrown by its force.

When the storm finally died down, the surging dragon blood power faded. The Ten Thousand Dragon Nest could absorb no more energy.

“Boss!”

Gu Yang and the others finally awakened, their faces lighting up with joy.

Gu Yang, Li Qi, Song Mingyuan, Xia Chen, Guo Ran, and the others had condensed eight core veins. Dragon qi roared within them, surging with unstoppable momentum. The other Dragonblood warriors had at least six core veins, with squad leaders boasting seven. Their overwhelming Blood Qi spread like an endless ocean.

The Hidden Dragon warriors couldn’t help but shudder under the sheer pressure of their auras.

“Where are Xiaole and Shishi?”

“Little Nine, Xiaole, and big sister Shishi all sensed something in the Heaven Vein Mystic Realm calling to them. They left on their own,” Xia Chen explained. “We’ve been here drawing out the Emperor reverse scale this whole time, but they never came back.” 𐍂àℕỌBΕș

Xia Chen’s eight core veins slowly moved behind him. Unlike others, his core veins resembled intricate layers of talismans stacked atop one another, each radiating immense dragon blood power. They pulsed as if they could explode at any moment, exuding a terrifying aura.

“Boss, what about the Heaven Demon Alliance? We should crush those brutes right now!” exclaimed Guo Ran, gritting his teeth in rage.

They had exhausted themselves summoning the Emperor Reverse Scale, only for the Heaven Demon Alliance to descend like vultures, eager to feast on them.

The Dragonblood warriors had been drained, and facing those opportunistic jackals had been beyond frustrating. But now they had recovered—and they wanted vengeance.

“Revenge can wait until you awaken your core veins,” Long Chen said, gesturing toward Guo Ran’s heaven vein dragon qi.

Everyone followed Long Chen’s gaze—and then burst into laughter.

“Hm?”

Guo Ran finally turned to look. His jaw dropped.

Unlike everyone else’s core vein, whose dragon qi swirled with boundless energy, Guo Ran’s veins lay completely still—as if they were… sleeping.

Worse yet, tiny bubbles expanded and contracted from their “nostrils,” emitting soft snores. It looked like a very sweet sleep.

Guo Ran’s face turned red with rage. He raised his hand to smack it awake, but Long Chen grabbed his wrist.

“Let them sleep,” Long Chen smirked. “They’re just… conserving their strength.”

Long Chen quickly explained everything that had happened. Hearing how dire the battle had been, everyone shuddered. If Wilde hadn’t arrived in time, the Dragonblood Legion would have been in trouble.

Gu Yang gritted his teeth and said, “The Heaven Demon Alliance must pay in blood.”

Long Chen shook his head. “Revenge will come in time. For now…”

He turned toward the Hidden Dragon warriors and smiled. “Let me make the introductions. These are our sisters from the Hidden Dragon Legion. From today onward, we are one family.”

His gaze met Tang Wan-er’s, and a silent understanding passed between them.

The female warriors of the Hidden Dragon Legion blushed.
