“It seems my siblings have already started their revolt and have succeeded with brute force. Then again, there are three of us that are no longer taking Sin Energy. The three of us, Pride, Greed, and Gluttony, were the ones that are hogging most of it.

Still, are my siblings really this dumb? I am the brains of our family, and this is the result of their brainless action. They could have just returned back to their true forms but left the population of humans alone. Instead, most of them decided to affect them. They are really brainless fools that will lead their own deaths even if I do not interfere.” The Primordial Beast of Pride stated.

The Primordial Beast of Pride knew that its other siblings just put a target on their backs because of what they have caused. The humans or those that have intelligent civilizations do not care for Primordial Beasts as long as they are left alone or not a threat. The Primordial Beasts of Sin would have been left alone by most if they did not unleash their power unto human lands.

“I have been observing you for quite a while now, Primordial Beast of Pride.” A voice suddenly stated as the Primordial Beast of Pride suddenly looked around to find the source.

The Primordial Beast of Pride is currently hiding in a small inn located at a rather small town in the eastern continent. This was the closest human civilization it reached after it devoured the Primordial Beast of Gluttony. There should be no one that knows of the Primordial Beast of Pride but nothing in this world is absolute. The Primordial Beast of Pride held its sword, but it realized that the entire area froze.

The humans and even the low number of immortals in the entire town froze in place as if they were in stasis. They were not literally frozen in time but merely frozen in place as they were still breathing. It just looks like all beings in the area have their minds controlled by the being that called upon the Primordial Beast of Pride.

“Who are you?!” The Primordial Beast of Pride asked the stranger that suddenly appeared before it.

The stranger that appeared before the Primordial Beast of Pride is dressed in a rather lavish attire. Its clothes were like of a gentleman with a touch of gold, silver, and diamond ornaments. The Primordial Beast of Pride knew that this stranger was not normal because no one in the eastern continent has this type of energy except for the divine beasts. The stranger before it was none other than a god.

“I am the God Loki. I think you know of me.” The God Loki stated with a smile.

“The Trickster God of the Nordic Gods. Why has a trickster come to me? How did you even find me?” The Primordial Beast of Pride asked as it became wary that other gods were now monitoring it.

“Worry not as you just caught my eye this time when I was spying on our little demon troublemaker.” The God Loki stated.

The Nordic Gods did not really stop their plans for returning Asgard in the mortal realm. They are still banking on the chance that there is another way to do it. The Nordic Gods were almost out of their wits on how to destroy the world barrier, but the God Loki noticed the Primordial Beast of Pride when it was peeping into Adrian’s actions in the eastern continent.

The God Loki found out about the Primordial Beast of Pride when it devoured a part of the essence of the Primordial Beast of Greed. The Primordial Beast of Pride might have hidden it well when it released its Sin Energy for a fraction of a second but that is not hidden well enough against a god. The God Loki smiled upon seeing an interesting primordial beast and decided to observe it further.

The God Loki reported it to the other Aesir Gods of the Nordic Gods that he found an interesting primordial beast. It was just a passing remark that piqued his interest, but the God Odin also took interest. When the God Loki described the primordial beast to the God Odin, the latter immediately took out an old manuscript that detailed the Five Universal Calamities.

The Five Universal Calamities are beings that even the gods themselves have difficulty defeating which is why they got the name. The pages of the manuscript flipped and landed on a monster that has seven heads with seven crowns. Each head has one eye with a larger eye at the very center of the beast. It was a beast that cannot be spawned naturally in this world which is why it is part of the Five Universal Calamities.

“Aid the Primordial Beast of Pride in its quest in devouring its siblings, Loki.” The God Odin stated which surprised all of the Aesir Gods as the Allfather is known to not like the help of others.

“Can you tell me why you need me to help the Primordial Beast of Pride? Is it related to the monster that you are now looking at?” The God Loki asked.

“I was actually young back then when this monster appeared. It was subdued by the Twin Gods along with the Primordial Gods at the time. It is a monster that has been split into eight because its power was so great that a lesser number would just let its parts fuse together.” The God Odin stated.

“Eight? There are only seven Primordial Beasts of Sin?” The God Loki questioned as he knew that there are only seven Primordial Beasts of Sin.

“The eight is not a living being but a core that was sealed in the depths of Tartarus. The core that we have now due to your great service to us all. The Infinity Core is the eight being that separated from this Universal Calamity. This is also the reason why the infinity symbol looks like a horizontal eight as it has been carved due to this core coming into being.” The God Odin stated.

“I used a lot of energy and even sacrificed thousands of live to reach Tartarus for that core, but you are thinking of giving it away to a beast?! The Infinity Core is the only thing that gives energy to our realm and keeps the food from being diseased. If we give it to the primordial beasts, then we will no longer have a way to maintain our realm.” The God Loki stated, and the other Aesir Gods nodded to his statement as well.

“The Infinity Core cannot become the power source of our realm forever as the other gods will take notice of its energy. An incursion will happen, and we will be overrun by foreign gods in the distant future. The reason I want you to help the Primordial Beast of Pride is the Universal Calamity known as the Beast of Ogdoad will be able to break the divine barrier of the mortal realm.

A Universal Calamity will exceed the power that maintains the divine barrier and the world barrier as well. The demons no longer have multiple Noblesse alive and there are no Asmodians alive as well. If a Universal Calamity were to appear then it will destroy the world barrier and the divine barrier as well. With both barriers destroyed, I will be able to move Asgard to the mortal realm with ease.

Did you think that the mortals were able to partially unseal the Beast of Revelation without my guidance? I was the mastermind behind the unsealing of all the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. If the Beast of Revelation was unsealed back then, the mortal realm would no longer have a world barrier to protect them from our arrival.” The God Odin declared which sent a shiver down the spine of the other gods.

The Beast of Revelation is considered one of the Universal Calamities just like the Beast of Ogdoad. They Five Universal Calamities have the power to literally overturn the laws governing the world which is why the gods needed to seal them away into another dimension. The Beast of Ogdoad is the same as the Beast of Revelation but the way to seal it was different.

The Beast of Ogdoad was split into eight beings with one of them being the Infinity Core that was sealed in Tartarus. The other seven became the Primordial Beasts of Sin which the world itself used to benefit it. All memories of the Beast of Ogdoad were erased without a trace with the help of the gods and the Will of the World.

The Primordial Beasts of Sin became useful to the world which is why the other seven were not sealed like the Infinity Core. The problem arises when the Primordial Beast of Sloth saw visions of the past and the future due to its ability. The memories of the past glory affected all of the primordial beast of sin because they were all connected.
