Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class
Chapter 396 - 396: Regalon's WrathThree days later.
In the vast world of the Second Layer, a name was carved into vengeance.
House of Regalon.
Across celestial screens, astral projections, floating Prana-tuned tablets, and ethereal mirroring orbs, the footage spread like wildfire—undeniable and visceral.
There was no chance to suppress it. Almond had ensured it. He didn’t just reveal the truth; he made the entire cosmos taste it.
They saw it.
The Prana Projection.
Bryan’s iconic words. “…Found something fun.”
The crime. The bar. Natalia’s laughter shattered by blood-soaked fists. Kira’s scream. Grim Breakers and Mad Nuts descend like beasts.
Then came retribution.
Silent, ethereal eyes glowing with godlike wrath as Almond crushed Bryan’s head. Again. And again. And again.
The regenerations. The screams. The hollow silence that followed as Bryan’s mind shattered.
Blood ants crawling in terrifying, excruciating patterns. Two skinned bodies kept alive like specimens of divine cruelty.
And then—the cleansing.
The palace of the Darton Clan, once a mighty structure wreathed in starlight, became dust under the Spirit Lords of Almond.
Almond floated high, his hands soaked in radiant Prana, while the other Regalons he had summoned from his planet ravaged the palace and captured every single Darton Clan member that was not present.
It was a big clan after all. And there were many who knew the truth from Bryan’s own mouth. For them, cruelty to others was nothing. The prestige of their clan was everything.
And now, nothing of their clan remained.
From the skies, tendrils of light descended, piercing every corner of the Darton Clan’s holdings.
Bloodlines detected. Bloodlines purged. All those guilty twisted into grotesque, semi-sentient beasts—walking scars of shame. Eternal slaves bound to House Regalon.
And with a single command from Admiral Rudra, their world was renamed:
Regalon’s Wrath.
And the reaction of the other forces was a sight to behold. Sage Tower, the biggest force responsible for spreading the news to every corner of the cosmos, began interviewing clans to know what thoughts they had regarding this action made by the House of Regalon.
“They didn’t just retaliate…they rewrote the rules.” One of the top 100 clans’ Supreme Emperor commented in interviews with the Sage Tower’s reporter.
Aboard the Violet Harmony Ark (Floating fortress of the Velorn Accord—a peacekeeping empire)
The man with three heads closes the projection orb.
“Do you know what this means?”
“They’ve set a precedent. Touch a Regalon, lose a bloodline.”
“No… worse. They’ve weaponized justice. And the stars cheer them for it.”
Cosmos #48, Vulkan Clan.
“Finally! Some spine in the stars!” A hulking woman with magma-tinted skin roared, slamming her fist against the table. “Regalon just turned a clan into an eternal history for touching theirs.”
“Would you provoke them?” the reporter asked.
She leaned forward, her grin wild. “I wouldn’t even look at them funny.”
“Do you think what House of Regalon did was madness?”
“Madness? Bwahaha. It isn’t madness. It’s a message. Cross ’em, and you don’t get a tomb—you get turned into a story for the kids to wet themselves over.”
…
People all over the second layer, in various cosmoses, were telling each other about the video.
“Did you see what they did to that guy?”
“…crushed his head like a fruit.”
“Again. And again. And again.”
“They turned his ancestors’ palace into sand.”
“They erased their bloodline.”
“They renamed the planet!”
“Do you know what that means?”
“Yeah… it means if you touch House Regalon… you don’t die… You get remembered forever… as a warning.”
…
Although the fear of Regalon spread far and wide, there were still forces at the top that merely raised eyebrows.
Cosmos #16, Whisperpaw Clan.
“Almond is dangerous… too dangerous. He’s not just strong—he’s theatrical. He wants us to see the pain.”
“And now no one dares challenge Regalon?”
“Fools will fear them. We’ll test them. Break one of theirs quietly. Don’t kill. Don’t maim. Just… scar one deeply enough that they remember.”
“You want to provoke them like that?”
“I want to see if they’re gods or just loud mortals with sharp claws.”
“Shaliaman, if you want to do that, you better remove this clan’s Geneline and disown yourself.”
“…”
“Or I can relay this task to others.”
“You can do that, but after obeying my orders above. I want no connection between whatever happens to them and our clan.”
…
Cosmos #12, Searing Throne Clan.
Warlike empire of flame-blooded beings.
Emperor Cyndar blinked and muttered.
“So… the black-haired child turned a bloodline into mulch and living into abominations. They were quite the sight.”
General Enra folded his arms.
“I want them.”
Cyndar laughed.
“You want to ally?”
Enra narrowed his eyes.
“No. I want to break the duo. I want to see if their flames burn brighter than ours.”
Cyndar smirked. “Then go. But when their blood ants are crawling up your spine, don’t cry home.”
…
One of the Big Ten —the Nizahir clan.
“Karmenlin, you contacted Dartons and made them do this to test Regalons.”
“Well, they clearly surpassed our expectations. They’ll be a good addition to our force in the third layer.”
“Indeed. It’d be best if we had them. But will they find out you fed the Dartons the idea and boosted their confidence only to invite this doom to themselves?”
“Rest assured, my lord. Even if he scans Feliora’s memories, there won’t be any mention of our clan or any name. Just the words of a ghost they can never trace.”
“Good. It’s a good thing they are still Immortals and can’t bypass our Arts yet. Otherwise, even you would’ve been traced. The power displayed by that brat…it wasn’t Animus, but something similar to it, perhaps a boon from above, a Conceptual Power bearing its print.”
“What?!”
“Indeed. I can’t think of anything else that can cause resurrection like that. This is why we must do our all to lean Regalons to our side.”
“Should I do something?”
“Nothing yet. It’s time for other fools to act. We watch.”
“Understood.”
…
House of Regalon completely overturned Darton’s clan planet and made them into history, taking all their resources, treasury, erasing their bloodline, and working the abomination Almond created, named Regalon’s Slaves, to the bones for the development of their Planet and people.
However, Natalia and others who suffered torture needed rest and care from their loved ones. Fortunately, they could recover from this, and thanks to the vengeance House of Regalon enacted, their heart and minds also got closure.
From this tragedy they experienced and overcame, Natalia, Marcus, Maya, Emma, Kira, and Noah were bound to become stronger.
