Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?
Chapter 1560 1560: Finding A Dungeon—–
The gigantic Sleeping Volcano Oasis was a staggering sight for the whole group, after finally reaching it, Aquarina summoned her familiars so they could quickly take a dip in the water, who did so happily.
“A-Are those the water spirits?” wondered Agua, surprised again. “Oh wow, you have three, not two?”
“The boy over there isn’t a spirit, he’s Pyuku, a slime,” Aquarina explained.
“Slime…?” wondered Agua. “I had never heard of such a creature before… Are they like us?”
“Yes they’re smart, sentient beings,” Aquarina nodded. “I’m sure you would like them if they became your friends, Agua.”
“Oh…” Agua nodded. “That sounds… stimulatingly interesting.”
“That’s a weird way to put you found that interesting,” said Justicio. “Anyways, we came here originally to find a treasure.”
“Huh? A treasure?” wondered Agua. “Which one do you seek?”
“An old cube made out of Orichalcum,” said Khepri, appearing above Silvia. “I can detect it down there in the Lake. So it’s most likely there! Perhaps hiding.”
“An old cube made of Orichalcum…” Agua thought. “You mean that metal of the gods that is like gold? I had never thought that such a thing was in the depths… then again, we’ve not really investigated too deep. The Sleeping Volcano Oasis sis much deeper than most other lakes, you see.”
“Oh really?” wondered Aquarina. “Does it go down to the volcano itself?”
“We are not completely sure, but there is indeed an underground section of the lake,” Agua said. “With caves that had become their own ecosystem similar to dungeons. Perhaps a naturally occurring underground lake dungeon if you must.”
“Interesting…” Silvia said. “Maybe we’re up for another little adventure?”
“I guess so… I wish we could get this done with quickly though…” Justicio sighed. “But if there’s no helping it, I suppose we’ll have to do it this way… Unless Aquarina could somehow lift all the lake and reveal what’s in the depths?”
“I could!” Aquarina said. “I mean, when I was younger I had a little… Uh, fight with my mother, and I ended controlling the entire sea around me, that’s a lot of water right?”
“P-Please heroine doesn’t do that, it could greatly affect the life in the lake, fish would die and a lot of mollusks might get washed away. There are corals here, a whole ecosystem would be devastated…” Agua begged Aquarina to not do that.
“A-ah, okay, got it, I won’t, don’t worry… I’m not that reckless!” Aquarina sighed, crossing her arms. “Anyways, Khepri, can you guide us where it is? I’ll bring everyone down there.”
“I could do it! Please leave this to me,” said Agua. “My Magic can create special bubbles to traverse easily underwater!”
“Oh, well, if you say so,” Aquarina nodded.
“Then yeah, I’ll guide you, follow me,” Khepri said.
FLUOSH!
Agua created a huge bubble of water, and by controlling it, she submerged everyone into the lake, which was incredibly clear and crystalline.
Down there, everyone was amazed to see what she meant, a whole coral reef with colorful fishes, snails, eels, crustaceans and mollusks, there were even squids and other creatures usually found on the sea and not on lakes.
“Does this lake have salt water?” wondered Aquarina.
“Oh, it’s a mix,” said Agua. “It has an underwater connection with the ocean very far away! Even if its salty, the water is very pure. A bit of mana can clear the water and make it suitable to be drunk easily.”
“That’s interesting,” Aquarina looked around. “So where to, Khepri?”
“Over there!”
Khepri pointed to the right, there was a huge hole deep in the floor of the lake, which led even further down.
“Very well.”
Agua moved the bubble around, the creatures of the lake mostly ignored them, although there were some very large monsters here and there.
“Weird, they’re all ignoring us, why?” Silvia wondered.
“I thought going this deep was dangerous…” Justicio said.
“Don’t worry about that,” Agua smiled. “Thanks to our pacifying magic, the aquatic creatures of the lake won’t attack us if they are not provoked. So as long as we leave them alone, they won’t do anything to us.”
“That’s nice!” Silvia said. “I wish we could have that for like, every other creature in the world!”
“Wouldn’t that make it way too easy?” asked Justicio. “Life would be much different without the constant threat of monsters.”
“Yeah… But that’s not really possible,” said Agua. “Our own special spell is only specific to these monsters, unfortunately.”
“Ah, it’s not unfortunate, don’t worry,” Aquarina said. “It’s good enough- Woah!”
Aquarina was surprised as the bubble instantly began moving down the hole, everything instantly turned completely black, with the only remaining light coming from above.
“How far is it?” she asked.
“Um, deeper! Deeper!” said Khepri.
They kept moving deeper and deeper, ultimately arriving within the underground lake, which was constantly flowing like a river towards the ocean.
The caves were covered with corals and crystals, and there wasn’t any area where they could stand, everything was occupied by water.
Nonetheless, it was simple for Agua to move the bubble around, moving across the river and reaching their destination, ultimately forking through various paths as Khepri kept telling them where to go.
“I-I think it’s over there, yeah!”
Khepri pointed at the area in front of them, right behind an underground waterfall, there was finally some land they could step on, so Agua slowly descended, the bubble popped, as sparkles of blue light rained down.
“And done… so this is the place, spirit?” wondered Agua. “Oh, there’s another cave over there… Wait, this must be…”
She noticed a small sign over there; it seemed some people had already come here. The sign was made of carved stone, and it said “WARNING: Dungeon Entrance”.
“It’s a dungeon!” Agua said. “So this is where the dungeon my mother had talked was located, it was very far… I can tell why most people couldn’t get down here.”
“Is it dangerous?” wondered Justicio. “W-What’s the usual Difficulty?”
“I don’t know,” said Agua. “But my mother said the monsters here were strong, so we were all prohibited from entering… Uh, I suppose I could still go, as long as the heroine is accompanying me.”
“Sure, let’s go! I wanted to explore a small dungeon anyways!” Aquarina said happily.
She was mostly looking forward to the EXP she could get!
