"What if I just want to use the teleport platform function to return to the city and not actually enter the town for its facility."

"Then at 2 silver coins price, a Town Guard would guide the player to the teleport platform and ensure they are safely teleported to a city they desired. Keep in mind though, the teleport fee would be paid by the players if they wanted to teleport to cities other than Star Falls City."
