SSS RANKED REINCARNATION: DARK DRAGON LEGACY
Chapter 422 - 422: A well hidden secret“You tried to use my sword, that was a very bad idea,” Silva said. He placed his sword on the back of the golden celestial and spoke.
“How are you weaker than the demon lord? Something isn’t adding up, and I would really love for you to tell me what it is.
Or would you like for me to kill every celestial here?” Silva asked.
The golden celestial knew that he had been defeated. There was seemingly no way that he could defeat Silva, but he was not going to let it end like that.
“I’d rather die than tell you what you want. Some things are more terrifying than death,” he said and suddenly was wreathed in a golden flame. The force of the flames threw Silva back. He used his wings to fly and stop himself from going backward.
He looked at the golden celestial, who was now covered in burning golden flames. He felt the power of the golden celestial spike, rising exponentially as he stood there.
But Silva could also tell that the power that was coming was not without backlash. The flames were consuming the soul of the golden celestial to give it the strength that he was getting.
“What secret could possibly make you risk your life?” Silva asked, his eyes still on the golden celestial.
All of a sudden, the celestial charged at Silva, his speed so fast that he reached Silva before he could blink and punched Silva right in the gut.
Silva arced backward and shot through the air. The golden celestial chased after him and then released a barrage of punches, raining them all on Silva.
Silva took the punches, each one pushing him farther and farther until he slammed into one of the remaining floating islands.
The island trembled as Silva landed on it. A massive crater formed, and a shockwave spread through the entire island, killing some of the celestials there without them having any chance of resistance.
Silva pushed himself up. Standing, he looked up to see the golden celestial, but he was nowhere to be found. Then suddenly, he appeared beside Silva and punched Silva in the face.
The punch connected, and Silva shot through the air like a bullet. He landed on the ground, still moving for a few meters and digging a deep chasm with his body until he finally came to a stop.
Already, the golden celestial was in the air with both of his fists together. He slammed Silva on the chest. Silva shot through the earth and broke out of the other side, falling to the ground beneath.
Silva stood up and flew in. The golden celestial was already flying his way. Silva sighed and waited for him to throw a punch, and when he did, he caught the fist, shocking the golden celestial.
“I wanted to let you have your way and see how good your golden flames made you. Maybe I would need to take out my clones to actually fight you, but you utterly disappointed me,” Silva said with a look of pity on his face.
“Huh? What are you trying to say? That you have been letting me hit you? I find that hard to believe,” the golden celestial said. He increased the intensity of his flames, but Silva didn’t even flinch.
“Are you dumb? Look around. You beat me, yet my spell is still active and destroying your islands. You beat me, yet you haven’t drawn a single drop of blood,” Silva said.
It was when he said this that the golden celestial realized that he was actually not doing any damage to Silva. He had used his ultimate technique, yet Silva was not even bleeding.
Silva grabbed the fist tighter and pulled him in for a punch. His fist collided with his face, the face of the golden celestial sunk in, blood splattered, and he shot through the air, traveling several hundreds of meters before hitting the ground. He was tossed further before finally stopping.
Silva flew toward the golden celestial. The golden flames had died down, and the golden celestial now looked like a shriveled old man on the ground.
“You risked your life to use a technique, yet you couldn’t win. What secret could possibly be so important that you would rather die than tell me?” Silva asked.
“Some things are always more important,” the golden celestial said after a struggle.
“I doubt that, and I also know that I’ll make you talk no matter what,” Silva said and grabbed the golden celestial by his neck, lifting him up to see eye to eye.
Silva’s dragon eyes flashed. He gazed into the soul of the celestial. This was something that he had not used before—Dragon’s Intimidation.
The ability to make weaker beings experience horror and fear when they looked into his eyes. The golden celestial began shivering as he looked into Silva’s eyes, but despite that, he refused to speak.
Silva could see the horror in the celestial, but yet he refused to speak. After a while, the golden celestial began screaming like a wild animal. His voice got louder every second, yet he refused to say anything.
“What could you possibly hide this well that you have refused to say? What is it?” Silva said, getting frustrated.
But still, the celestial said nothing. Silva got tired and let him go. The golden celestial heaved a heavy sigh of relief.
“Fine, since you will not say it, I still want to offer you to take the celestials out of this realm and come back to Argon. When you finally do, you’ll live in a peaceful world I want to create,” Silva said.
“Even that is very impossible. We can’t leave this realm. We refuse to follow you. Do as you will, but we refuse,” the golden celestial said.
Silva was genuinely pissed off at this point. He grabbed the head of the golden celestial and, in one movement, crushed his head.
“Ophelia, you have a lot to explain,” Silva said in a low voice.
