Strongest Warlock - Wizard World Irregular
Chapter 1056: You Want Me To Spoil You? [Part 1]Realm of Arkanthos…
Ethan’s and Chloe’s disappearance worried everyone.
Even more so since the battle had ended and the Gargoyles didn’t seem to wish to continue fighting, which meant that they had nothing else to think about.
For the time being, everyone decided to wait, busying themselves by collecting the bodies of those who had died in battle and healing those who suffered injuries. Even if they won, and did everything in their power to prevent anyone from dying, things just didn’t go according to their plan.
Princess Ariel’s abilities shone during this time because among the Mermaid Princesses, she specialized in healing and other supportive abilities.
Finally, after an hour, Ethan’s voice reached everyone’s ears from above, making them look at the sky.
"I’m alright, everyone. However, it will take a few days or even a week before I completely gain the authority of this world. Don’t worry about me and return to Midgard. I’ll come back after I’m done taking full control of the Realm of Arkanthos."
After he was done passing his message, Illumina and the others felt relief to know that the young man was safe and sound.
"Let’s do as he says," Professor Rinehart stated. "Let’s return to Midgard. We still have many things to do."
Everyone nodded in agreement. They had to deliver the news of their victory to their leaders so that they could prepare a contingency plan if a similar incident happened once more.Half an hour later, the Alliance returned to Janvidr, then to the Sylvan Realm, which was connected to Midgard.
When only the Gargoyles were left, Ethan finally closed off Arkanthos to everyone, preventing any outside force from infiltrating his domain while he was gaining full authority of the world.
Somewhere near the very heart of Arkanthos, Ethan created a small house on top of a small floating island.
Since he would need to stay for a few days to gain the full authority of the world, he decided to make his stay as comfortable as possible.
Also, Chloe was still unconscious after her battle with the Will of Zorathul.
Ethan managed to heal her physical injuries, but the damage to her soul was something he couldn’t fix.
At least, that was what he thought.
Lia Fail talked to him and told him that Chloe could use his help to recover from the injuries she sustained to her soul.

Naturally, Ethan didn’t hesitate to agree to help his lover, for she had risked her life to protect him against the Will of a Progenitor.
Lia Fail transformed into a pretty young lady and looked at Ethan anxiously.
"Do you know how to make a resonance with a person’s soul?" Lia Fail asked.
"I do," Ethan replied. "Don’t worry. I have done it in the past."
Indeed. This wasn’t the first time that Ethan would do such a thing since it was also how he helped Nicole.
After laying in the soft and comfortable bed beside his lover, he reached out to hug her in a protective embrace before closing his eyes to connect with her subconscious mind.
When Ethan regained his senses, he appeared inside Chloe’s Sea of Consciousness.
There, the young lady floated over a blue sea with crystal clear waters that reflected the blue sky above.
Some parts of her body glowed faintly as if to highlight the places where her soul got damaged.
A scar on her cheek, a severed right hand, and several other deep cuts could be seen on her naked body.
Ethan couldn’t help but draw in a deep breath because it was more serious than he thought it would be.
If Chloe didn’t come to his rescue, his soul might have already been consumed by Zorathul and his body taken over by his Will.
That would have been a tragedy not only for Ethan, but also to the people whom he held dear in his heart.
"Chloe, please wake up," Ethan said softly as he caressed the young lady’s cheek. "Please, open your eyes."
The young lady’s eyelids fluttered as if reacting to his words. Half a minute later, Chloe slowly opened her eyes, but she could only open it halfway.
"Ethan?" Chloe asked weakly.
"Yes," Ethan replied, holding the young lady’s remaining hand. "It’s me."
A look of relief appeared on the young lady’s face because she thought that she would never see her lover again.
"I feel so sleepy," Chloe said softly. "Can I sleep more?"
"No," Ethan replied firmly. "Stay with me. I will help you."
Ethan feared that if Chloe closed her eyes to sleep, she might fall into a coma that would last for an unknown period of time.
She was in a very critical period, and he couldn’t possibly take such a risk.
Fortunately, he learned a thing or two from Nicole’s situation, giving him an idea on what to do next.
The young man then lowered his head and kissed Chloe’s lips, passing his life force to her.
He even used the Authority that he gained from Arkanthos to siphon the powers of the world into his body, converting it into life force and passing it to Chloe to speed up her recovery.
Slowly but surely, the scars and injuries that Chloe received from her battle slowly healed.
While it wasn’t an instant regeneration, it was still enough to make the young lady feel less drowsy.
After the long kiss ended, Ethan lovingly looked at her. Chloe had always been there to support him in whatever he did ever since they were young.
This time, it was his turn to support her, and he would never ever allow her to suffer as long as he was alive.
"Feeling better?" Ethan asked, cupping the young lady’s face.
"I’ll feel better if you do it one more time," Chloe replied sleepily.
"I have a better idea." Ethan smirked before planting a kiss on Chloe’s forehead.
A few minutes later, the young lady opened his eyes in the real world and looked at the young man holding her closely.
Her body felt numb, especially on the parts where she received injuries to her soul—most especially her right hand which had been severed from her soul.
"Don’t worry. You’ll be completely healed soon," Ethan said firmly.
"… I see," Chloe replied. "But why are you taking off my clothes?"
"Lia Fail said that this is the fastest way for you to recover."
"So, she told you?"
Ethan nodded. "She did."
Lia Fail was truly feeling anxious because Chloe’s soul had received serious injuries after doing her best to protect Ethan.
If the Stone of Destiny didn’t activate its last resort to protect her Master at the last moment, Chloe’s soul would have been annihilated from the face of the Astral World.
