Song Zhen’s expression darkened. Gritting his teeth, he quickly headed in the direction of the crowd.
Just then, another group of people walked into the medical academy and saw everyone running in one direction.
One of the tall, broad-shouldered men grabbed someone and asked curiously, “What’s everyone running for? Do you know where Class Three of the Water Medicine Department is? Where’s Instructor Xi Yue?”
The person who got grabbed glanced at the emblem on their clothes—Martial Arts Department.
He couldn’t help but shake his head and say, “Looking for Instructor Xi Yue? Don’t bother with Class Three of the Water Medicine Department. Everyone is in his place now! He’s about to get dragged into the Enforcement Hall!”
“What?” The tall, burly man’s expression changed drastically as he let out an angry roar. “Who dares lay a hand on Xi Yue? What right do they have?”
The student jumped in fright, seeing five or six people closing in with unfriendly expressions. He shrank back a little and said, “Instructor Xi Yue and that girl from Class Three, Meng Zisu, were caught having an improper relationship. They’re about to be investigated and put on trial. If it turns out to be true, he’ll be kicked out of Heavenly Medical Valley—maybe worse. He could be facing serious punishment!”
The man’s furious expression froze instantly, and his hand slowly dropped to his side.
Seeing that, the student immediately turned and bolted. After all, they were medical students. When it came to brute strength, they were no match for the guys from the Martial Arts Department.
The tall, burly man looked at his companion, confusion written all over his face as he muttered, “Did I hear that right? They’re saying Xi Yue got caught messing around with a woman.”
Across from him, the handsome young man Jin Zeyu lightly pressed a fist to his lips and chuckled. “I’m guessing… this is probably just some kind of misunderstanding?”

But most of the instructors and more traditional students were disgusted by what they saw as a disgraceful act. From time to time, voices rang out, demanding that these shameless people who had tarnished the academy’s reputation be kicked out for good.
The Enforcement Hall’s deputy hall master, Wang Hai, was still sitting cross-legged in meditation, completely still.
One of the enforcers stepped forward and gave Xi Yue a respectful bow. “Dr. Xi, we need to search your quarters. Apologies for the offense.”
Xi Yue nodded. “Please do as you wish.”
Mei Shuhai waved to a student behind him and said, “Go with the enforcers and help with the search. Make sure you check every corner. Don’t let a single thing slip through the cracks.”
After a meaningful glance, the student immediately nodded with a grin before following the enforcers into the room.
Time passed little by little, and the chattering outside never stopped.
Just as the crowd was speculating whether Xi Yue would be found guilty, an excited shout suddenly came from inside the room—it was Mei Shuhai’s student. “Teacher! I found it! I found it!” ℞ΑＮÖʙĚŝ
Moments later, the student came rushing out, holding a light pink piece of cloth in his hand, with the frowning enforcers following close behind.
