The evolutionary base had expanded to the size of a nation in the span of one month.
An absurd expansion and consolidation rate unlike anything human civilization upon the Panama Continent had ever seen. And yet, the very moment the energy shield protecting the base burst, everything within was entirely vulnerable to the destruction of the beasts and monsters.
And destruction it was.
BOOOOOOM BOOOOOOM BOOOOOOM BOOOOOOM BOOOOOOM!!!!!
“AAARRGHH!”
“HELP!”
“WHERE DID ALL THESE MONSTERS—!”
BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
The beasts and monsters charged forth into the base, absolutely annihilating all the hyper-portable fences that barricaded the territory while unleashing destruction upon the paltry security and infantry perimeters that desperately fired upon them in vain.
A band of wyverns charged to the sky, scorching all the housing infrastructure to ashes while adamantigers hunted down each and every single evolutionary in sight, consuming them whole. Earthen Basilisks emerged from within the ground, destabilizing the very foundations of all the hyper-portable communication infrastructure that they had brought in while destroying the underground plumbing and energy grids.
It was pure and thorough annihilation that left not a single structure standing behind.
A quality of destruction that was as thorough as the first ambush attack that the Panamic Alliance had launched with the World Bridge.
Except it was a lot more painful, for a lot more capital and a lot more lives were destroyed, for that was just a settlement, while this time, they were destroying an entire settler nation that sought to move its entire population to permanently reside on the Panama Continent.
By the time the evolutionaries even had the opportunity to just barely behold the complete and utter destruction of everything they had ever built on this continent.
Their transparent expressions grew ugly as they gritted their teeth.
The losses this time were truly agonizing.
They gazed with horrified and shocked expressions across the entire horizon from the skies, even as they fought the Martial Sage with all their power, at just how many beasts and monsters had emerged from the Beast Domain.
Their numbers had increased after the Beast Incursion ended, for they went an entire month without Martial Artists culling their numbers.
And just like that, the evolutionaries lost their base.
Defeat flickered in their eyes as their expressions crumpled with grave severity.
How could they possibly become permanent residents on this continent and conquer it if native flora and fauna were this hostile to them?
The Martial Sages could detect their emotional state of mind with their mind sense, smelling blood in the water.
Now was the time to press them.
BOOOOOOM BOOOOOOM BOOOOOOM BOOOOOOM BOOOOOOM!!!!!
They increased their efforts, pushing them to the very limit, unleashing a maelstrom of attacks upon the evolutionaries, desperately getting them to crack.
“Do not despair.”
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!
“Argh!” Amare grimaced with agony as a thundering blow from the supreme commander of the evolutionary army blasted her away.
Her body was peppered with wounds and bruises.
The healing fruit had worn out.
“We are superior.”
Anthea’s ethereal voice cleaved through the intensity in the atmosphere.
He towered over them all.
His ephemeral body was beyond fathoming.
“So what if they have destroyed our base?”
His tone was calm.
“We will crush them and build a bigger one.”
His eyes were radiant.
“So long as we are connected to our homeland, we can build as many bases as we need to.”
The evolutionaries stirred at his words.
Their eyes grew more determined.
Their bodies hardened with power.
They regrouped, taking a fierce military formation against the scattered Martial Sages.
And yet, before they could even launch a single attack, the Great Nam Ocean shook.
It shook violently.
RUMBLE!!!!!
The tranquil composure in Anthea’s ephemeral eyes disappeared as he beheld the Great Nam Ocean erupting with violent vigor. It erupted violently as a tremendous surge of aquatic and marine monsters emerged from its depths, attacking the fleet of ships and fleet carriers.
The evolutionaries shook as they turned around to behold a gigantic quasi-Transcendent kraken consuming a fleet carrier in the blink of an eye, wrapping its tremendous tentacles across countless vessels, while a ghastly leviathan emerged from the depths of the Great Nam Ocean, consuming a wide variety of ships.
RUMBLE!!!!!
Massive whirlpools emerged on the surface of the waters as a charybdis sucked in countless ships into her razor-sharp teeth-laden mouth. The evolutionaries watched with horror as all of their means of transport were rapidly consumed by the tremendously powerful monsters, even as the ships mobilized their powerful siege weapons with impressive speed, desperately trying to ward off the marine beasts and monsters.
BOOOOOM BOOOOOM BOOOOOM BOOOOOM BOOOOOM!!!!!
Lasers, antimatter beams, and railguns bombarded the sea monsters with all their power.
And yet, the titanic creatures half-submerged in water withstood the powerful attacks, even suffering wounds, as they thoroughly wiped out all the ships and fleet carriers that the evolutionary army relied on for transporting
goods, capital, and even people to the Panama Continent.
The jets and aircrafts of the army desperately took to the air, launching powerful warheads and missiles at the creatures, desperately trying to ward them off with all the power they had.
And yet, it was all for naught.
Before the might of the Great Nam Ocean caught all of them off guard, they stood no chance at deterring quasi-Transcendent beasts and monsters that had chosen to emerge from the unfathomable depths of the Great Nam Ocean, wiping out the evolutionary fleet in the blink of an eye.
Not a single person could move.
Not the Martial Sages, nor the evolutionaries.
Both parties stood frozen in shock as the Great Nam Ocean annihilated their fleet.
Not even Anthea could bring himself to utter a word at what had just happened.
Amare had no idea what was happening.
And yet, she knew one thing.
The evolutionaries were weaker than they had ever been since their arrival.
This was perhaps the one and only chance they had at exiling them from the continent.
“Attack!” Her eyes flared with determination as she surged forth against Anthea.
“ATTACK!” the Martial Sages charged with great ferocity.
“FIRE!” the siege operators roared, unleashing a powerful siege upon their enemies.
“ROOOAAARRR!!!” the Beast Excursion turned their attention to the sole evolutionaries on the battlefield, converging upon them with a violent frenzy.
RUMBLE!!!!!
The battlefield shook as multiple forces converged upon the evolutionaries, threatening to destroy them.
