‘Wait a second, a woman that appears to be in her early twenties, light gray hair and grayish pink eyes… the gatekeeper!’, he inwardly exclaimed to then shout.

“Elder Mariana, that woman is the gatekeeper elder from the Steel Tower sect!”.

In response the peak stage female elder also named elder Mariana, frowned having a hard time believing the previous affirmation, at least until Alexandra herself corrected the peak stage male elder by saying.

“Former gatekeeper elder of the Steel Tower sect, I’m now a guest elder of the Twin Sword Valley”.

“Rough Rock Sea!”, in response to Alexandra’s confirmation, the peak stage female elder directly unleashed her sea of knowledge, it was a five hundred meters dark brown agglomeration of spirit energy with boulders floating here and there inside of it.

What a joke, at the secondary branches of the Mountain Amber family, there isn’t a single elder below the Void Manipulation realm that hadn’t heard of the gatekeeper elder from the Steel Tower sect.

They originally had the order to send proxies from affiliated forces in order to scout her, after all the Mountain Amber family couldn’t simply directly go to a middle-ranked force to steal an elder, they would be losing face as a main family from a ruler level force if they did so.

But then, things didn’t go as they were supposed to, the one they needed to scout, beat the hell up of the representatives they sent and we are talking of exclusively Genesis Manifestation realm cultivators, since that was the maximum they could send in secret to not alarm neither the Steel Tower sect nor the ruler family of the Fritz Stellar System, after all they weren’t the rulers of there, but guests of another Heavenly Quadrant.

Having lost their face, the elders in charge of that task sent a complain to the branch of the Drage that had the Fritz Stellar System under its jurisdiction, but they were utterly ignored, what’s more the Steel Tower sect then received the backing of the Castle Armored sect not too long after that.

And the Castle Armored sect is a first-tier force on par with the Mountain Amber family, of course the Fey as a whole would completely overwhelm the Castle Armored sect, but they had their own inner divisions and the Mountain Amber weren’t even the strongest family on their side.

Of course this was a relatively low-level task, as it was delegated to Sea of Knowledge realm elders, but it was a rare occasion in which they as members of the Mountain Amber family, failed so horribly and had to close the mission without obtaining anything.

In case you wonder why they didn’t openly seek revenge, that’s because Alexandra didn’t kill the guys that were sent by them, she simply beat them up because she needed to maintain a though tough, low standing.

Anyway, the point is that the female peak stage elder, had heard the testimonies of the Genesis Manifestation representatives who were interrogated for losing against a Mortal Transcending realm from a middle grade Stellar System on top of that, and they all answered the same “She is a monster that should be considered a pseudo-Void Manipulation cultivator”.

‘Those guys were all from third or even fourth tier forces, though they were still born at high ranked Stellar Systems, I could fight a bunch of their Genesis Manifestation realm cultivators at the same time without that much of a trouble… the problem is that she was at the early stage of the Mortal Transcending realm back then and she must have received resources from the Castle Armored sect and the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley too’, thought the peak stage female elder.

In her mind, the reason as to why the Castle Armored sect became the Steel Tower’s sect backer, is because they wanted Alexandra to join them and that was also why the Drage didn’t pay their complains any mind, ultimately, they were elders at the early stages of the Transcending realms, so their words didn’t carry enough authority to be taken seriously by the other party.

“You didn’t even dare to kill those low ranked bastards, have you forgotten your place because you have the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley “behind” of you now?”, mockingly said Mariana to then charge at Alexandra who snorted in response.

“Humph!”, naturally she didn’t like the fact that the other party hinted that she had sold herself for resources, which was basically the offers that those guys whom she destroyed made to her.

The Alexandra of back then, utterly despised anything that slightly aligned with having to serve someone, with either her body or mind, so you can imagine how wild she went after being told to be grateful that she was chosen to enter the sphere of influence of the Mountain Amber family.

Alexandra met the incoming dark brown sea of knowledge with a continuous release of spirit energy, since she is a Mortal Transcending realm cultivator, then she doesn’t have a sea of knowledge to use after all.

Even then, the peak stage female elder couldn’t help but smirk at the relatively small area covered by Alexandra’s spirit energy release, she is main energy path cultivator and yet, her continuous release barely reached the two-hundred-meter mark, though there seemed to be something different about it, since the previous light gray color had darkened quite a bit.

In contrast, her sea of knowledge might only be of the same size as the orange poison user elder from the Pleasure Palace, however as a member of the Mountain Amber family, her attribute is earth, a completely non-fluid element, so five hundred meters of size is a decently big size in that aspect.

“Booom!”, the confident expression on the peak stage female elder’s face, immediately died when her sea of knowledge clashed with the light gray haired girl’s release of spirit energy, which resulted in sparks flying all over the place, while their energies ended in a complete stalemate.

“Impossible!”, exclaimed Mariana, earlier when their spirit energies clashed, she had the upper hand as it was supposed to happen, so she couldn’t understand how now that she was using her sea of knowledge, she couldn’t advance even a centimeter when clashing with the enemy’s spirit energy.

“What are you so surprised about, a handful of gold and a handful of feathers might have the same size and occupy the same space, but their weight will never be the same”, merrily said the light gray-haired girl.

The difference between her current spirit energy and the one from before is that earlier Alexandra was just using “basic” metal spirit energy and now she was using her Black Heavenly Gold one, and in case you have forgotten about it, that’s something she was unable to do… before her date with Aster at least.

What happened you wonder, well, she has been training with her main plaque of Black Heavenly Gold every single day after said date, she simply asked Aster to dedicate her a couple of “seconds” of his day to help her recharge it, of course those were really valuable seconds as they were seconds of invincibility of which Aster only had ten per day.

Naturally there were days where Aster wanted to have all of them available in case they were needed, and that’s when that dragon mother of his jumped in, with a “flick” of her pretty index finger she charged Alexandra’s main Black Heavenly Gold plaque to the max of its capacity, which is one attack at the peak of the Law Integration realm.

And with that, an interesting change happened for Alexandra, she finally gained the capacity to use “basic” metal both, spirit energy and element-wise, of course it was a “new” ability and Alexandra wanted to see how she would fair against an enemy from a high ranked Stellar System, though one from what she considered the bottom of the barrel, as the peak stage female elder was just from a secondary subordinated branch.

Gritting her teeth for her insides, the peak stage female elder cursed as she actively injected spirit energy into her sea of knowledge.

“Expansion!”, the previously five hundred meter sized sea of knowledge, grew all the way to around 1.6 kilometers, as a sign of the fact that Mariana comes from the Mountain Amber family, she could expand her sea of knowledge for a bit more than one kilometer, it was only a hundred meters of difference when compared to the orange poison user elder from the Pleasure Palace, but due to the difference in the attributes of their seas of knowledge, it was still a decent extra.

Naturally, now that the sea of knowledge of the female peak stage elder had more than tripled its original size, it was able to pressure Alexandra who was inside her “small” continuous release of spirit energy, by engulfing it whole and then making it retreat.

“Let’s try this again, Landslide!”, with her body exploding in dark brown spirit energy, Mariana turned into a blur to then appear in front of the area covered by Alexandra’s dark gray spirit energy, and punch at it.

“Clang!”, a loud metal clashing sound echoed through the sky, making the other elders from the Mountain Amber family who were watching the fight, feel their ears ring, the origin of it was the fist of the peak stage elder which was unable to bypass Alexandra’s spirit energy release.

In fact, the earth spirit energy cladding her hand shattered on the spot, a bit more and she would have wounder herself just by attacking Alexandra’s spirit energy, it was humiliating.

“Damn it!”, with an angered roar, Mariana took out her spirit weapon, a Warhammer to then smack it against the dark gray spirit energy field in front of her.

“Crack!”, this time her attack did produce a result, some cracks appearing on Alexandra’s energy protection, however when she took impulse to continue with her assault, a dark gray object blocked her spirit weapon.

“Booom!”, Mariana gazed at the thing blocking her Warhammer with disbelief, it was one of least popular if not the least popular out of all the variations of a spear, a knight’s lance.

“Tsk, so you didn’t have the guts to completely discard offensive and focus on defense by using a shield and instead went on with that weird thing”, disdainfully said Mariana.

The reason as to why the lance is the least popular choice among spear variations, is because it combines defense and offense aspects into it, while a spear is supposed to be used for thrusts, slashes and block by redirecting, a lance has no slashing power and its thrusts have less piercing power, in exchange its whole ample body can be used to block, it even has a mini shield-like guard to protect the hand, a weapon that weirdly combined a spear and a shield.

And due to its strange shape for the cultivation world’s standards at least, learning how to use it was not easy, hence why it was mostly limited to be used for ceremonies or non-real battle situations and yet here was Mariana, seeing a lance blocking her Warhammer.

What she didn’t know is that Alexandra was only recently dedicating time to train on it, having the chance to have her main plaque recharged every day, really made a big difference for her.

And that wasn’t all, the reason as to why she could start using her lance more actively, was because her physical strength which was really low compared to her early stage Stellar Constellation realm secondary path body cultivation, had improved thanks to the “resources” for tempering the body that she was gifted by Aster through the ring of the family.

‘Ah damn it, another debt of gratitude to the list… oh well, it’s not like I’m planning to go anywhere anyway, I’ll have time to repay that guy’, thought Alexandra as she saw the spirit weapon which her uncle had gifted her a long time ago, which she rarely used before, since her attack of preference was her own defense, through the use of her plaques of Black Heavenly Gold.

It’s worth mentioning that while Mariana is also a secondary body path cultivator, she is only at the peak Star Formation realm, and she kept it that way because if she entered the Stellar Constellation realm in her secondary path, the increase of difficulty to advance in her main energy path will be noticeable, she wanted to advance to the Genesis Manifestation realm in the energy path before.

While those two had their heavy metal spirit weapons clash, at the other side of the battlefield, the moment the elder from the Blazeheart felt the waves caused by the seas of knowledge of the guys that were fighting Felicia, he manifested his sea of knowledge.

What a joke, the enemy in front of him, might arguably be the second weakest in terms of realm, but she is supposed to have the same bloodline as the monster who killed their young generation and suppressed the whole battlefield just with his presence, so he didn’t want to risk his life.

In fact, he even asked the elder leading the team of the Blazeheart family, if they could swarm the auburn-haired girl to make sure everything went fine, unfortunately when the leading elder of the Blazeheart tried to ask for permission from Mariana, he didn’t get an answer.

And so, the early-stage elder, also known as Henders, was left to fight the auburn-haired girl by himself.

“Flame Raging Sea, Expansion!”, with a fierce shout, the orange sea of flames released by Henders, enlarged to try and engulf Camila, the former five hundred meter sized flame sea, grew to a total of 1.7 kilometers of size.

The auburn-haired girl glowed in a pretty copperish light, which made Henders hasten the expansion of his sea of knowledge, since he was reminded of Aster’s golden colored spirit energy.

The result was that the orange sea of flames collided with the expanding release of bright copperish spirit energy, being radiated by Camilla.

And to no one’s surprise, she pushed back the sea of flames making it deform in the process.

“Damn it, Blaze Commandment!”, feeling the solid pressure against his sea of knowledge, Henders directly activated Blaze Commandment, making his previously dark orange flame sea to partially turn light blue.

As someone at the Transcending realms from the Blazeheart family, Henders had started to train his attribute, so in expansion state which combined both his attribute and his spirit energy as a whole, his sea of knowledge almost completely turned light blue colored.

However, two could play that game, Camilla’s blue eyes changed to a pretty silver color, and then the spirit energy that was being released by her, changed to a mix of copper and silver tones.

“Booom!”, the clash of energies intensified, but it still resulted in a tie, it’s worth mentioning that unlike Alexandra’s quite limited in terms of size, energy release, Camila’s one was much on the larger side.

It was for a good reason though, she reached three hundred meters of size with her copper colored spirit energy and another two hundred for her silver colored one, for a total of five hundred meters.

On the other hand, let alone mixing them like Camila was doing but even coordinating them, was not something easy to do, the Wolfstein girl was able to do so, thanks to her surprisingly high talent for the soul path, allowing her to sort through complex processes that her bloodline demanded of her.

She didn’t want to end up half naked by mistake due to her own innate ability again after all, so she decided to put more focus in what lied behind the abilities her bloodline granted her rather than the abilities themselves, it was a change of focus so to speak.

“Blazing Sword!”, not gaining any advantage, the early stage unsheathed his sword which then exploded in blue flames, to then slash it at Camila, trying to take her by surprise.

Unfortunately for him, the auburn-haired girl could literally predict what he was going to do, because she could tell a new spirit treasure had appeared in the vicinity, the very moment the early-stage elder was retrieving his sword out of his spatial ring.

And so, she had manifested her natal treasure, in other words her golden and silver spear, right in time to meet the attack from the enemy.

“Copper Crusher”, with two words, the treasure girl thrusted her spear downwards and a copper colored light descended from above, dragging the blue flame slash which was flying at Camila, down to the ground to then smack it against it, effectively crushing it into countless wisps of blue flames.

“Fire Wave!”, of course, Henders didn’t give the auburn-haired girl a time to rest, since his single target attack was blocked so easily, he changed to use a wide area one.

“Silver Piercing!”, after rolling her spear once, Camila pushed her spear frontwards, shooting a line of silver light which blasted a giant hole through the incoming fire tsunami, preventing any of it from reaching the auburn-haired girl.

Also, those were new techniques Camila learned recently, a new page of her cultivation manual had been liberated the moment she and Aster kissed after their last date, but only after she shared a bed with him not too long ago, did the contents of it became visible.

It might sound strange, but perhaps it was something that the Wolfstein ancestors prepared in other to secure the continuation of their lineage, after all, the two aspects of the Wolfstein lineage were needed to obtain the manual, it made sense that “progress” between the owners of both sides, affected the manual as well, luckily this was but a mere plus for Camila instead of being an objective, since she liked Aster nor for some sort of duty towards the Wolfstein but out of her own free will, unlike the way she lived cleaning Isaac’s mess for quite some time.

“Radiant Step”, with a couple of words, the auburn-haired girl flashed from her previous position, her spirit energy release which was “trapped” inside the sea of knowledge of the enemy, remained still though, meaning that she hadn’t go outside of it.

“Golden Calamity!”, with a though mellow, still fierce voice, Camilla who was now facing the opponent had her pretty right fist explode in a bright golden metallic light, which she then used to punch frontwards.

“Crack!”, as if the space itself had shattered, a golden colored fracture was produced by Camila’s punch, resulting in the whole left side of the early-stage elder’s sea of knowledge being blasted away.

“Aghhh!”, and said elder to be dragged away by the shockwave created by the enemy’s attack, forcing blood out of his mouth, all with a single punch, well, it was a punch that condensed and then shot a large amount of treasure aura, enough to make the silvery spirit energy change to a golden tone, even without using the golden colored liquid she can only obtain through Aster.

Henders whose face was pale after the previous, gazed at the leading elder from the Blazeheart to then say.

“I’m not fighting that crazy woman alone anymore, either we all do it, or I’ll leave, I don’t care what those guys from the Mountain Amber say, their leader is fighting one on one and she hasn’t been able to wound the enemy or anything”.

The leading elder from the Blazeheart, frowned but ultimately sighed as he saw the other elders from the group that had that hidden light of fear flash through their eyes, the trauma caused by Aster was too fresh and Camila kept reminding them of it.

‘Elder Mariana, we’ll be fighting as a group, feel free to report me to my sup…’, the words from the Blazeheart leading elder stuck in his throat as Mariana directly shouted.

“I don’t care how, let’s turn these bitches into mincemeat!!!”, it was clear that something must have happened at her side as well.
