Villain Ch 954. No One Can Touch What’s Mine

The blade sank into Arcana’s chest, a fatal blow that sent the paladin crumpling to the ground. The sound of metal against flesh and the sickening crunch of bone echoed through the hall.

Azura, seeing her leader fall, let out a cry of despair. “Arcana!” she screamed, her voice breaking. She tried to strike Allen from behind, her daggers aimed at his spine. But Allen anticipated her move. He spun around with blinding speed, his hand shooting out to catch her by the throat.

Azura gasped, her daggers slipping from her grasp as Allen’s clawed hand tightened around her neck and lifted her body. She struggled, her eyes wide with terror. “You… won’t get away with this,” she choked out, her voice barely a whisper.

Allen’s eyes gleamed with sadistic pleasure. “Oh, but I already have,” he replied, his voice a dark, mocking whisper. “Soul Siphon…” He activated his skill, his grip on her throat tightening as he began to drain her life force.

Azura’s body convulsed as the dark energy flowed into her, stealing her HP and mana. She could feel her strength slipping away, her life force being ripped from her. The pain was excruciating, a burning sensation that spread through her entire being. Her vision blurred, and her limbs grew heavy.

The sound of Azura’s gasps and whimpers filled the air, mingling with the crackling of flames and the distant echoes of battle. Allen’s expression remained cold and detached, his focus entirely on the task at hand. He watched with satisfaction as Azura’s life force drained away, her struggles growing weaker with each passing moment.

Arcana, lying on the ground and struggling to breathe, could only watch in helpless horror. His vision was dimming, his strength failing, but he forced himself to look at Azura. “I’m sorry,” he whispered, his voice filled with sorrow and regret.

Azura’s eyes met Arcana’s for a brief, poignant moment. She tried to reach out to him, but her strength was gone. Her body went limp in Allen’s grasp, her life force completely drained.

Allen released her, letting her lifeless body crumple to the ground beside Arcana. He looked down at the fallen guild members with a mixture of disdain and satisfaction. ” I will kill everyone who hurts my beloved. No one can touch what’s mine,” he muttered, his voice dripping with a cold menacing threat.

He turned away from the bodies, his attention shifting back to the remaining guild members who watched in stunned silence. What they had just witnessed pressed down on them like a physical force, paralyzing them with fear. Allen tilted his head, his cold gaze penetrating each and every one of them. “I’ve given you guys a good show, haven’t I?” he spoke, his voice dripping with mockery.

The words sent chills down their spines. They knew that they were next. Panic set in, and in a desperate bid for survival, they turned and tried to escape. Some reached into their inventories and grabbed their Home Crystals, hoping to teleport back to their safe points. Crystals glowed in their hands, but Allen was faster.

With a flick of his wings, he shot up into the air, stopping mid-flight. His demonic form was silhouetted against the fiery backdrop, a dark and terrifying presence. “There’s no escape,” he declared, his voice echoing through the hall. He raised his hand, flames dancing in his palm. “Hellfire Rain.”

Flames erupted from his hand, spreading out into a storm of fiery meteors that rained down upon the battlefield. The heat was intense, waves of scorching energy filling the air. The guild members below scrambled in terror, their shouts of panic blending into a cacophony of despair.

“Run!” one of them screamed, his voice cracking with fear.

“We need to get out of here!” another cried, frantically trying to activate his Home Crystal, but Allen’s flames faster.

The first of the Hellfire Rain struck the ground with explosive force, sending shockwaves through the hall. The impact was deafening, a series of thunderous booms that reverberated off the stone walls. Fire spread rapidly, consuming everything in its path. The guild members, despite their best efforts, were caught in the inferno.

Barriers conjured by the remaining magic users flickered and failed under the relentless onslaught of the Hellfire Rain. The protective spells, normally robust and reliable, crumbled like paper against the inferno’s sheer intensity. The smell of burning flesh and the acrid scent of scorched earth filled the air, mingling with the desperate cries of those trapped in the fiery storm.

A healer, his hands trembling, tried to cast a protective barrier around his group. “Stay close to me! I can—” His words were cut short as fiery flames crashed down, obliterating the shield and consuming him and his comrades in a wave of fire.

Others weren’t as fortunate. The flames struck the ground with deadly precision, each impact accompanied by a burst of flames and debris. The ground shook with the force of the explosions, cracks spreading out like spiderwebs. The sound was a constant, deafening roar, drowning out the screams and the frantic, futile attempts to escape.

Amidst the chaos, a clear, resolute female voice rang out, cutting through the chaos. “Don’t give up!” The voice carried a tone of authority and hope, instantly drawing the remaining guild members’ attention.

They turned toward the source. A blinding light enveloped the battlefield. From within this radiant glow emerged a figure, a priestess with a shimmering presence. Her robe glowed with ethereal light, and her transparent, rainbow-like fairy wings spread wide behind her, catching and refracting the light in a dazzling display.

“Mass Healing Light!” she intoned, her voice carrying a divine resonance. She raised her staff high, and a wave of healing energy spread out from her, bathing the wounded and weary in its restorative light. Injuries closed, burns faded, and the pain ebbed away as her magic worked its wonders. To the players, she was like a goddess of life, a savior in their darkest hour. At least in the players’ eyes.

Allen and his companions couldn’t hide their disdain. The sudden appearance of the priestess and her overt display of benevolence was sickening to them. They exchanged glances, their expressions twisted in disgust. Especially since they knew her.
