Dark Magus Returns

Chapter 1064: All World Connecting

A large wooden ship pulled up to the shore, about thirty meters away from the last wreckage. Immediately, people began to drop down from the island, and hands started to wave in the direction of others.

Lince and Zon didn't move forward, neither did Beatrix. Instead, it was Raze who ventured forward and approached the others.

"Raze, you're okay!" Safa exclaimed, rushing toward him. She hesitated for a moment, unsure whether to force a hug on him.

However, rather than push her away, Raze did something unexpected. He lifted his arms, almost as if inviting her in.

Safa took the opportunity and rushed into his embrace, holding onto him tightly. After everything that had happened-the truth about her real brother-Safa just wanted to stay close to Raze.

"Thank you for still being here... thank you for still being alive. I thought I might have lost you," Safa whispered.

Though uncomfortable, Raze accepted it and tried to bear with it.

"Hey, do you think Raze will start letting us hug him now?" Liam asked.

"That privilege is surely just for Safa," Simyon replied. "And why do you want to hug him anyway? I mean, Raze is handsome, but I thought you didn't swing that way. Didn't you have an obsession with Safa... and now Raze as well?"

"No, it's not like that," Liam shook his hands in protest. "Hey, you're the one with a stalker. If you want to go there, we can go there. Ricktor has great eyes for you, but it seems like Safa's been getting all the hugs from Raze lately."

"Will you two stop talking about useless things?" Dame said as he walked up behind them and rubbed the tops of their heads. "You're ruining a sweet moment."

The trip on the island had come to an end, and everyone was welcomed aboard the ship, including the wrecked crew. Their attitudes had completely changed, and they were now grateful to everyone there.

As the ship set sail back to the main continent, a meeting was scheduled to take place in the captain's room. It was a small, dimly lit space, with only candles casting a faint glow.

It was cramped with the number of people in the room, but they all felt it was necessary to catch up on what had been happening. Lince, Zon, Beatrix, Safa, Liam, Simyon, and Dame were all present.

The first item on the agenda was how exactly Dame and the others had come to find them.

"I see," Raze answered. "So you followed the information left by Himmy, which led you to investigate the Rylon religion. After that, you returned to try and find me, which eventually brought you here."

"Right," Safa answered. "A lot happened, but thankfully, we were able to rescue Charlotte in the end. She's in Flendon Town with everyone else right now, but it's strange what they were doing and the links to magic. All of it was happening in Pagna."

"On that note, I should mention something else," Dame said. "Rayna has been doing a lot of work in the Dark and Demonic Factions. She's gotten rid of as many members of Alter as possible."

"There might be a few who caught wind of it, but she had an impressive plan. It will be harder for Alter to influence or move within the Demonic and Dark Factions now. She's done well. Raze, you should thank her for that."

Raze nodded. It was a good move, and it reinforced in his mind what kind of person Rayna was. Many of the people working for Alter were likely just ordinary people who didn't know what Alter was really doing.

At the end of the day, though, it didn't matter. It would cause them even larger problems if they remained. This gave Raze some hope of perhaps getting the Golden Globe back.

As for another matter, Raze was finding it difficult to look at Dame, feelings he wasn't exactly used to. It went to show how much he had started to care for Dame recently.

"I have something to tell you, Dame. Have you heard about the situation with the Neverfall Clan? Has the news reached you yet?"

"The Neverfall Clan?" Dame repeated.

There and then, Raze made the decision to tell Dame, and everyone in the room, everything. How Belil had mentioned the island, what Belil really was-a Divine warrior from above- and how Belil had been the one to give him his power.

It wasn't fair that no one knew how great of a person Belil was, what his true purpose had been, or how much he cared for Pagna-more than most would ever realize.

After hearing everything, Beatrix's heart ached. It made sense now how Raze had suddenly gained such great power. The real issue, though, was how they had seen the Demonic Faction as so evil, and yet the Light Faction had done such things. A person from the Demonic Faction had sacrificed their life greatly for the sake of Pagna.

What morals did the Light Faction have? What high ground could they stand on? It pained her greatly.

"It's okay, Raze," Dame said. "I can tell you had no choice. I... honestly don't even know how to process it all, but first, I just want to say thank you for telling me."

After moving on from the death of Belil, Raze continued to tell them everything about what had happened on the island-the search for the Golden Globe, what it could do, and how it was taken in the end.

There was much anger from the others upon hearing this, and each individual needed time to process and plan what they were going to do next.

They returned to the deck of the ship, staring out into the vast sea. They would soon be approaching the main continent. To many of them, it felt like they were about to return to an unknown land, not knowing what would happen next.

As Raze leaned over the side of the ship, Safa eventually approached him.

"I wanted to talk to you about the Rylon religion and what happened. There was something else." Safa pulled out a scroll, which had a magic circle drawn on it, filled with various

symbols.

"I got Liam to draw this from memory-the magic circle. It was linked to the sacrifices... I wanted to ask you, do you know what this is, and do you know the name... Gizin?"
