Dragging their battered bodies, the scattered cultivators fought back against the sect cultivators. They had never imagined that after waiting for decades, the ancient ruins would reward them with death.

In an instant, the furious scattered cultivators and the sect cultivators broke out into a fierce battle, making the already unstable space even more chaotic. Amidst this chaos, Jiang Chengxuan’s presence went unnoticed by anyone.

As the scattered cultivators and sect cultivators clashed, no one paid attention to him. Jiang Chengxuan breathed a sigh of relief, realizing that the worst-case scenario had not occurred.

“A bunch of ants…”

Meanwhile, in the void, the two True Immortals from the Huang Tian and Jin She sects finally retracted their power. With a disdainful sneer, the overbearing Huang Tian Immortal led his fervent disciples through the broken restriction, entering the ancient ruins amidst waves of mysterious fluctuations.

The True Immortal had driven away the scattered cultivators merely to eliminate potential threats, while leaving the sect cultivators to act as cannon fodder in case of danger. If any treasures or opportunities were found by the sect cultivators, he could always take them by force once they exited the ruins. After all, sects had fixed bases that couldn’t escape, unlike scattered cultivators who could vanish without a trace after gaining treasures.

Hence, he had personally acted to kill Jiang Chengxuan and the others, all part of his calculation, a strategy that was terrifyingly meticulous. However, he had overlooked one point—the existence of Jiang Chengxuan.

Seeing the Huang Tian and Jin She sect members entering the ancient ruins, Jiang Chengxuan felt his mind relax. With the threat of the two True Immortals gone, he no longer faced any immediate life-threatening danger in the ruins.

Yet, looking at the battlefield where sect cultivators and scattered cultivators fought to the death, Jiang Chengxuan frowned but chose not to intervene. Everyone there had sought the treasures of the ancient ruins and had to face the consequences themselves.

Taking advantage of the chaos, Jiang Chengxuan moved stealthily towards the ancient ruins. Concealed by his Heavenly Tribulation Divination, no one detected his presence.

Soon, the fissure forcibly opened by the treasure ruler of the Huang Tian and Jin She Immortals appeared within his reach. The deep fissure emitted terrifying fluctuations, connecting to the ancient ruins on the other side.

Without hesitation, Jiang Chengxuan flashed forward and entered the fissure. In an instant, mysterious waves of energy enveloped him, and his vision was filled with endless radiance.

“What’s this?”

This anomaly drew the attention of the sect cultivators, but amidst the spatial fluctuations, they couldn’t see clearly. Their senses detected nothing, so they assumed it was merely a fluctuation of the restriction and continued their battle with the scattered cultivators.

Under the combined assault of the sect cultivators, the chaotic void eventually returned to silence. The few remaining scattered cultivators, even those at the Immortal level, were all killed, leaving no trace behind.

The once splendid corridor of celestial light was now littered with remnants, the bright red and chaotic pollution a stark testament to the brutal battle.

“Sigh, let’s move on.”

The sect cultivators finally sighed in relief, regrouped, and flew towards the entrance of the ancient ruins. Despite the looming threat of the two great sects, they couldn’t abandon the opportunities within the ancient ruins.

“Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!”

Led by the sect immortals, the sect cultivators, clad in splendid robes, leaped into the fissure one by one. Bursts of light and spatial fluctuations followed, and soon they all disappeared.

Simultaneously, after experiencing a strange teleportation, Jiang Chengxuan found himself in a new world. Stepping out of the nine-colored spatial energy, he saw a dense forest brimming with vitality.

Towering trees, glowing with a faint light and emitting celestial energy, formed a vast green city. Immense spiritual energy permeated the air, forming mist, while long vines like giant snakes sprawled among the trees, resembling grand avenues.

Beneath Jiang Chengxuan’s feet was a swampy land, glowing with a greenish hue, overgrown with weeds and various exotic plants swaying in the wind. Numerous hidden presences lurked beneath the swamp, difficult to discern.

Jiang Chengxuan first felt joy, then a hint of caution. This swampy forest was not as peaceful as it seemed; his instincts warned him of lurking dangers.

After a brief rest to stabilize himself, Jiang Chengxuan began exploring cautiously. Concealing his presence, he moved to a large vine, planning to use it as a path to delve deeper into the area.

However, as soon as he stepped onto the vine, it erupted with powerful energy. Countless tiny tendrils emerged, dripping with gray-purple liquid, attacking Jiang Chengxuan.

Prepared for this, Jiang Chengxuan remained unfazed, instantly summoning the Five Elements Universe Map, transforming it into the Gengjin Void Sword, and slashing at the tendrils.

“Buzz!”

In an instant, the sharp sword light and powerful void energy cut through the tendrils, annihilating them. The vine beneath Jiang Chengxuan shuddered and split open into a massive maw lined with poisonous spikes, attempting to swallow him whole. A poisonous mist containing rule power erupted from the maw, slightly numbing Jiang Chengxuan’s body.

Realizing the vine’s lethality, Jiang Chengxuan’s expression turned grave. He forcefully activated his celestial power, leaping into the air, and retrieved a pill from his storage ring, consuming it to neutralize the poison.

Once the poison’s effects dissipated, Jiang Chengxuan decided not to hold back. Pouring immense spiritual power into the Gengjin Void Sword, he slashed down, unleashing a hundred-foot void sword intent. The terrifying force stirred up a storm in the forest, the powerful sword intent tearing through the vine, causing purple venom to gush out like a tidal wave, resulting in a poisonous rain.

The sizzling sound of corrosion echoed, and the poisonous mist scared away countless bizarre beasts, their screeches filling the air as they fled.
