Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 455 - 455: Kent Vs The Four Kingdoms (3)

Space cracked, and the sword arc flashed out, causing the skinny Grand Sect Leader to swing his staff back, pushing him several kilometers away.

“And so it began.”

Kent blinked and appeared a few meters from the Grand Sect Leader. He was about to attack when a dagger appeared from behind him, threatening to sever his head from his body.

However, a claw painted in red pierced through the attacker’s chest, showing that Sylara, the evil undead, had arrived.

Kent didn’t even look behind him and focused on the Peak Sovereign now rising from the ground.

His sword swung forward, sending out 450 sword arcs. They rained down on the skinny figure. However, instead of getting hurt, he just stood there, looking coldly at Kent.

At that same moment, a figure appeared on Kent’s left and another on his right. Both were level 8 Sovereigns, each exuding a powerful aura.

“Grand Elder Ruolan, hand this brat over to me, and let me take care of him. I promise you will get what you came for.” he fiure that appeared on Kent’s left spoke.

Many call him the Hunter, one of the deadliest killers known across the Ancient Battlefield of Parting. He was one of Pill Saint Barton’s men.

They said he had established his mercenary force in the ancient battlefield of Parting, cementing himself as a force that could not be reckoned with.

“Why don’t you give it to my Middle Finger Assassin Guild to handle?” the leader of the assassins hired by the Hand proposed.

He was also known by many for his skill in killing. They called him Haunting Shadows, for he haunted his victims before killing them.

Both recognized Ruolan’s superiority, considering they were only level 8, while Grand Elder Ruolan was level 9. But aside from that, they also knew fighting over Kent with him would invite doom upon themselves.

They are afraid of the skinny figure. This made Kent wonder just what they are scared of. But he just remained quiet, considering his third undead was around.

“How about you two come with him? My master needs to exercise.” Kent smiled as his third undead, Vaelros, spoke, accompanied by two chains latching onto the Hunter and Haunting Shadows.

He pulled them away and then activated a domain skill.

“Chains of Torment.”

The 12-kilometer radius was enclosed in a domain of chains, trapping Vaelros and the two level 8 Sovereigns.

“Have fun, Master,” Vaelros’s voice said from within the Chains of Torment, widening Kent’s smile even further.

“Fun I shall have.” Kent smiled.

He moved, but before he could get within three meters of Grand Elder Ruolan, a terrifying coffin appeared behind the skinny evil man, forcing out three corpses that lurched toward Kent.

He halted his steps and unleashed Rapid Slash, sending out 450 sword arcs. However, Grand Elder Ruolan quickly created a defense, saving the three corpses.

He stood atop his coffin, moving through the air as the three corpses attacked Kent from all sides.

⟪Looks like you found yourself in a sticky one today, Master⟫ Gaia’s voice entered Kent’s head as he deflected an attack from one of the corpses.

Each was a Sovereign-stage puppet—a level 3 Sovereign, all three corpse puppets. Kent didn’t reply because he was moving swiftly, creating openings to draw the corpses in.

Soon, one fell into his trap, prompting Kent to use the Fractured Void skill to unleash another sword arc. The arc cleaved through the corpse’s chest, killing it.

However, the moment the corpse died, it vanished back into the coffin.

⟪Killing the corpses won’t solve the problem, Master⟫, Gaia said with a giggle.

“No shit, Sherlock. I can clearly see that now,” Kent smirked, knowing this would be one annoying battle.

⟪The only way to kill this evil person is to first destroy the coffin and then kill him. If you kill him before destroying the coffin, the chances of him getting resurrected are high. So, coffin first, then death⟫

Kent took mental note as his sword stabbed through yet another corpse.

However, before he could attack the second one, a bony hand came from his left, landing a powerful blow on his shoulder and sending him flying back.

“Die!” Grand Elder Ruolan shouted as he swung his staff in the air, causing dozens of small dark portals to appear, shooting out dark shards made of blood at Kent.

Kent created a dome around himself, deflecting the shards, but before he could move, a corpse that lung at him from the ground tried to latch onto his leg.

He dodged to the side and unleashed a powerful sword attack, forcing the skinny man to defend. Kent smirked as his eyes shone, simultaneously cracking the space behind the skinny man.

Another powerful sword arc flashed out, aiming for the coffin. However, a new corpse appeared and used its life to shield the coffin.

It’s hard to call it a life, considering it’s a corpse, but that didn’t change a thing; the corpse saved the coffin, buying the skinny man another chance to keep it.

But he became alert now, making Kent’s smile widen.

“No need to protect that. Either send it away and face me like a man or bring the corpses out and fight it out. Either way, your sect members are getting slaughtered.”

Grand Elder Ruolan looked to his side, where he saw Selene sever the head of one of his sect elders.

The ladies had finished their business inside the city, so they joined the battle, using the lives of these pitiful people as practice.

The only ones in serious combat were Ingrid and Neomi. Each was taking on a Sovereign, despite Ingrid being a level 8 Root Great Sage and Neomi sitting at level 4 Transcendent.

The rest were just killing the weaker foes, with Mara bombarding Pill Saint Barton, who wasn’t getting any breathing space, considering he was fighting a level 1 Root Ascension cultivator.

Mara and Camilla had broken through to the Ascension stage, thanks to Kent. Val had also broken through to the Transcendent stage.

So, they all came prepared, ready to handle the battle with ease. Thankfully, Verydris was around to ensure they didn’t get ahead of themselves.

It’s safe to say the battle was in Kent’s favor… so far.
