[System Notification:- integrating the Empire Wide panel, to your gaming screen. You can now make policy decisions and issue quests that will effect the entire Empire. ]
A series of notifications flashed before Leo’s eyes the moment he assumed the Unity Throne, which came as a welcome distraction to his rapidly pulsing heart.
The Emperor’s seat felt oddly comfortable to sit in. It was tilted at an angle where it not only provided excellent back support but also made him seem casually disinterested in everything happening in the courtroom below.‘I only control a meagre 55% of the established boundaries? Well that’s not wrong since, I am yet to officially control the North and West, but still, it dampens the mood slightly’ Leo thought, as he closed the first system notification tab and focused on the next.
‘The rewards? I hope you give me something more than just the MP promised….’ Leo thought, as seeing how the system was still calculating what he should get, he swiped it away too.
[System Notification :- The imperial panel is now available for use.]
The third system notification seemed the most interesting, as when Leo tapped on the imperial panel and called it up, he got access to a plethora of information he was previously unaware of.

Leo studied the interface with growing intrigue. The depth of control the imperial panel provided was astonishing, and the potential for gameplay mechanics seemed endless.
With just a flick of his wrists he could potentially issue an Empire wide quest for all players to take part in, or change the tax rate for all NPC to bear and face little to no consequences for his actions.
“Is this what absolute power feels like?” Leo muttered under his breath, as his eyes rolled over to the active military section.
The active military—32 million troops—was now his to command. This included soldiers who had, just a day ago, been fiercely defending the Unity Empire against him and his rebels.
“How…?” Leo muttered, leaning forward slightly in his throne. The absurdity of the situation struck him like a bolt of lightning.
In any real-world setting, such a shift would be unthinkable. Soldiers, commanders, and generals didn’t simply lay down their weapons and swear fealty to the man they had been trying to kill mere hours ago. The grudges, the bitterness, the memories of betrayal—those didn’t vanish overnight.
But here, in the game world, things were different. The moment he claimed the throne, it was as though the system had flipped a switch, erasing the barriers of loyalty and allegiance. The imperial forces, bound by the game’s mechanics, were now his. Their unwavering resistance had melted away the instant he became Emperor.
He opened the military interface with a flick of his wrist, the details filling his vision.
—
[Active Military – Unity Empire Forces]
Infantry: 22 million
Cavalry: 7 million
Siege Units: 2.8 million
Aerial Units: 100,000
Naval Forces: 100,000
[Special Forces – Unity Empire Elite]
Vired Corps: 50,000 (Stealth operatives, assassins, and saboteurs)
Arcane Guard: 30,000 (Elite battle mages)
Iron Vanguard: 40,000 (Heavy armor specialists and shock troopers)
—
The Unity Empire military mostly consisted of infantry and cavalry troops that were best suited for land warfare.
About 70% of these troops were deployed along the borders, to thwart the demon threat, while only 30% were stationed inland, with less than 1% being in the capital.
The Unity Navy was more or less a joke, with only 100,000 active personnel whose main job was to ensure that pirates did not rob merchant ships floating from east to west and back.
The Aerial Units were useful but mostly deployed along the Northern boundary where they performed scouting duties and carried out tactical raids against the demons on rocky terrains.
More or less 97% of the active military was tied up in active duty roles, leaving Leo with only about 3% of the forces and the special forces that he could call upon to complete personal missions.
The Virex Corps, the infamous imperial dogs could help him hunt and punish any individual player he disliked, whereas, the arcane guard and iron vanguard could be used to bully small-time guilds.
‘Oh I love this…’ Leo thought, as although the Unity Empire Military wasn’t as good as he hoped it would be, with the soldiers already ready to accept his command as their Emperor, he had no other complaints.
